Baymont by Wyndham Salina

The hotel was an 8 in the past but has some areas that need attention. The first room we went to there was stains on the sheets. I called the front desk and we were moved to a different room right away. The shower and floors have been updated but the walls and curtains need updated. Breakfast was very limited.

One family with lots of tall boys and girls was headed out to McDonalds, so I guess they knew what to expect and accepted it. Bottom line: get there early for the best selection. The elevator was in working order, so that's always a plus, and the ice machine worked. Only a few trolleys for moving luggage, but maybe most people don't worry about trolleys these days.

Clean, safe, quiet environment. Breakfast spread was pretty simple. I would stay here again.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean. The bed was very comfortable. There wasn’t any noise in the hallway or outside to disturb us. It’s conveniently located too. I would stay there again.

The bathroom in our room had mold of the ceiling. I spoke with a staff member of and they said the room above was leaking a toilet for a while. She said they fixed that room the day before. I said so there was nasty toilet water in there and that's causing the mold. She said yes. I said the mold will make people sick and she knew, and her allergies would kill her to be in the room. I said so you knew there was mold in the room and she said absolutely. I can't belive this place would rent a room with mold to customers. Then to find out that's is from toilet water! Even worse! They wouldn't do a refund, she they don't do that because people post bad reviews anyway. This hotel needs to be closed! Do not rent from them. If Baymount cared about people they would take their name off of this hotel!!

Good option for quick on and off when traveling. But didn't stand out enough to say more.

The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was nice and the air conditioning was great when it was very hot outside.

Rooms were clean. We were warm sleeping and we had ac as low as it would go. Breakfast was good.Staff were excellent from the time we walked in and left

The property could have been a little cleaner but it wasn't terrible. The property definitely needs some updating. A lot of things were old and worn out. A lot of rust on the door hinges. I also was not a fan of the under the bed thing that was metal and makes a loud noise if you accidently bump it. I did not see any bugs, so that is good, as it's always one of my fears of trying a new hotel. I also appreciate you let us book 5 people in a room. Other hotels in town wanted us to book 2 rooms. I always find that frustrating because I could easily book one room for me and my husband and our twin 9-year-olds, but because we also have a toddler who is 32 lbs. and doesn't need his own bed, they want us to book a 2nd room. But here we were able to book one room for the 5 of us which I greatly appreciate. I also like that there was a fridge and microwave.

Staying at the Baymont in Salina was a wonderful experience. Compared to other hotels that are in the same cost range, this Baymount is by far superior in cleanliness, niceness, and breakfast provisions. I definitely plan on staying there again!
