The sheets were covered in per hair, the TV remote was coated in dirt, dust and sticky stuff for some reason and the hot water would not work in the shower.

There were very few cars at the facility when we arrived around 8pm. The outside appearance was quite run down. There was no one at the front desk and it took some time for someone to arrive, even after ringing the bell multiple times. He was quite polite and apologized for our wait. We were directed to our room. The side door we entered was not secure and we easily walked in without a key. The room was spacious with fairly new floors and appeared to be adequate (we're simple folks 😊).The bed was clean and comfortable. There was a fridge and microwave, but no coffee pot. We noted some large cobwebs on the ceiling. The bathroom needed updated with chipped walls and noticeable replacement of fixtures. Amenities were minimal with one bar of soap and one small packet of shampoo. The true breaker was THERE WAS NO HOT WATER!! We heard other guests complain about thos as well. The continental breakfast consisted of a couple bananas, 2 kinds of cereal with a small amount of milk in the bottom of a gallon jug, and a tiny bit in the gallon of SunnyD. There was a waffle maker and syrup, which wasn't bad, but no butter. There was also hot coffee in a pump dispenser with only sugar and dry creamer. Again, we had a hard time finding someone to checkout, and did complain about the hot water, which she did comment that the on-demand had been a problem and would probably need to do something about it. When all was said and done, I don't believe we will ever return.

Staff was awesome, great for a quick stay

All that being said, the guy at the front desk was great. Super friendly.

Floors were dirty, whole place smelled bad, pool looked gross. You get what you pay for.
-
Pool area needed attention especially the bathrooms. No extra bathroom in entrance. The staff was excellent.
-
nice large room. my room was side so it was hot. the AC took a long time to cool the room down. place is clean but getting run down but the price was worth the stay
-
The room was clean but had a smell of dirty bleach that I couldn’t get out of my nose, I had to go by some febreze.
-
The staff was very accommodating as we arrived much later than regular business hours. They responded promptly to our inquiries. Location is excellent if using the airport. Appeared to be making upgrades to property.
-
Clean and quiet. Room AC struggled to cool the room—it was off when we arrived, so the room was hot and stuffy. Consequently, it took hours to cool down.
-
Only pro was the brand new AC unit that was installed that day.

Im a veteran traveler, but Im retired on a fixed budget. This place looks to be an old red roof inn, that the owner operator is restoring. My room was very well appointed, the furniture a bit dated but sturdy and clean. The showers are just a large step in platform, Perfect for seniors. Everything advertised is here, you will see ongoing improvements. It seems the owner is determined to make it very safe and updated. The bed is as good as any Marriott, the breakfast is waffles, serial and great coffee, with some fruit. There is a Mexican and Russel’s restaurant in walking distance. Also a 24hr Travel Store. So if you bang for your budget dollars, Salina Inn gets my vote.

The room was okay but had a smell to it. The lock on the door did not work on the inside. The hallways according to my daughter smelled like dead bodies. We couldn't find the ice even though we looked. As we were preparing to depart house cleaning came by pounding on the door and tried opening the door at least 15 minutes before check out time. When I tried to check out the fro t desk clerk was too busy with a personal call. The only positive was the night clerk who checked us in. He was pleasant.
