Wyndham Garden Salina Conference Center

When me and the wifes pulled up we both looked at each other and were about to call Expedia for a full refund because we thought we got an old run down hotel. As soon as I walked in, I immediately changed my mind. The hotel is currently going through major renovations and we were impressed. The room was fully redone, super clean, super nice staff. We will be staying here going forward.

This place, absolutely reeked of air sanitizer and heavy detergent, trying to mask some odors that were still seeping through all the aerosol in the air. The room was extremely humid and no matter how cold I set the air conditioner. It still did not relieve the humidity. The walls are paper, thin, and the rooms also had a very funky smell like air freshener, covering up some sort of must or mold, I would stay away from this property.

Staff was friendly. The property was old, very oddly decorated, not very well taken care of, just not very nice or inviting at all. It you want a big room, it had that, but I would not stay here again. Look elsewhere.

From the moment we checked in, the staff were barely polite, and I immediately got the impression that I was inconveniencing the employee simply by being there. We then discovered that our original reservation had mistakenly been booked for the wrong night. We were passing through Salina, it was nearly midnight, and we needed somewhere to stay, so we booked another room and stayed at the hotel anyway. Despite the circumstances—and despite the fact that we still gave them our business that night—the hotel refused to refund the room that had been booked for the wrong date. I understand that hotels have cancellation policies, but given the circumstances, their refusal to work with us felt incredibly poor and left a very bad impression. As for the hotel itself, it is clearly an older property that appears to be undergoing attempts at updating, but it still has an old, dingy look, feel, and smell. Our room smelled absolutely horrible. The odor was strong enough that I ended up with a headache. The shower was genuinely nice. Unfortunately, that is the only positive thing I can say about our stay. The online photos portray a much nicer, fresher establishment than what we experienced in person. Between the condition and smell of the room, the unfriendly service, and the way the reservation issue was handled, I would not stay here again or recommend it. For us, this was absolutely not worth the money.

It was all good, I realize they are in The midst of renovation.

They're in the process of remodeling the resturant and convention areas. The room we had was already remodeled. We had several conversations with the general manager who was working in the evening. He was very nice. We drove from Tennessee to Colorado and we fortunately stopped here. I will attach a picture of the shower which shows you how well they are remodeling

The hotel was recently renovated and clean. Easy access from I70. My wife left her Kindle at the hotel and they were very helpful making sure we got it back

We enjoyed our stay. Very quiet . Friendly staff and management. Clean rooms. Rooms newly remodeled while the property is going through renovations. Should be spectacular when completed. Impressive shower, lots of spray options. Suggest you work out function of each knob before getting into shower. The remodeled bathrooms need to finish their punch list such as caulking edge of tiles. Enjoyed the Flowater machines around the property. Taking your dog, beware of grass by tennis courts which has little grass burrs. Should I travel through Salina Ks. I will definitely stay here again to see the finished property.

This property is being updated so there are renovations going on. The updates are a vast improvement from the last time I stayed here. Our renovated room was clean, staff were very helpful. The downside of our stay - there was a ‘smell’ in our room (we argued cleaning solutions or musty). Overall, I will stay here again.

Facility very clean. Staff could have some additional training as had difficulty with changing rooms and the second day staff not knowledgeable of the change. Staff very accommodating. Breakfast waslimited in the last hour it was open.

This is is a newly renovated property. I believe they are still working on sime renovation. The staff was friendly and super helpful. The beds were comfortable, and the shower fixture had multiple heads for a lovely experience.

Renovations are ongoing but they are making good changes. Hopefully they continue to develop the property and make improvements. Right now It’s my first choice based on price and stay experience in Salina.
