Holiday Inn Express Salt Lake City Downtown by IHG

Room was clean and very comfortable.. Breakfast looked good but no way to carry out anything for early departure..

Breakfast was really good. Lots of options for gluten free and non gluten free

Staff was amazing!

Staff were friendly, breakfast filling, exercise room with free weights which was what I needed, could request no room cleaning, which I liked.

Front Desk was not helpful at all. We booked the room through Expedia and they wouldn't let us checkin.

Front desk is awesome, the room nothing short of being great and breakfast is so famtastic to the belly! We will return soon for another relaxing night and night views. Simon of frint desk is the man.

Clean & convenient for downtown concert venues

Rooms were clean, staff was helpful and the central location got us where we needed to be quickly and easily.

Upon arrival, the staff was not super welcoming nor friendly. Got a lot of wrong information in terms of what was on what floor, etc. There were only two elevators and one was out of service, and there happened to be a large group of teenagers, so we would wait on average close to 10 minutes for an elevator and started using the outside stairs to access our hotel room on the sixth floor. The location good was good, the room itself was good, the parking situation was OK but expensive – $28 for just one night! A lot of items around the hotel and in the hotel room itself were afraid and Warren. I would probably not stay here again.

Nice clean hotel, very centrally located

Clean room, nice shower, comfortable bed, and a great desk for computer work. Breakfast was amazing. Hot, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, omelets, yogurts, sausage links, cinnamon rolls, and the list goes on. The only thing I don't like is the $28 parking charge, which you don't notice unless you look closely.

Usual downtown noise can be heard in rooms, located near night club venue that was so loud it can be heard on the 9th floor. Only experienced that on one of the night's stay. No fault of the hotel, it is unfortunate and one would probably hear it at the other surrounding hotels as well.
