Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott San Antonio Medical Center

I loved the area staff and hotel. Clean and modern it was 15 min from six flags and 19 from river walk so almost in the middle 10/10 recommend

The breakfast room was very cold. The breakfast selection was fine but needed hard boiled eggs because the scrambled eggs were not good. The first floor hallway needs more frequent vacuuming. Finally, our room’s door was very heavy. I do not see a guest who is older and weak or disabled can enter or exit.

Staff were great and helpful.

To make matters worse, they also informed me that the Wi-Fi wasn’t working because it was broken. In our room, the curtains were electric, but they didn’t work either. We called the front desk, and they sent someone to fix them, but he couldn’t. We ended up sleeping with the curtains completely open. Breakfast was another disappointment. The egg station was empty, so I asked an employee if they would be bringing out more eggs. She responded very rudely, saying, “The food truck hasn’t arrived yet, and we don’t have any more eggs, just oatmeal.” The hotel itself was clean, but the overall experience was very disappointing and honestly bizarre. Between not getting the room I reserved, the broken Wi-Fi, the malfunctioning curtains, the unfulfilled refund, and the poor customer service, I would not stay here again.

I was put in a room with no air. i left my room and was gone a couple of hours and my room never got cleaned. Also there was plies of towels by people door and also trash as if house keeping never came around

Check in took a few minutes due to some computer glitches. Clerk could not have been nicer , however. Overall best stay in a while.

They didn't have the room we booked with double queen beds and instead gave us a room with living room and bed couch which is not comfortable. They did give us another bed upon request but what I didn’t like is that he said the system had overbooked the rooms

The room was overall very clean and spacious, the included breakfast was well-rounded with a lot of options. There was a well-equipped gym that appeared very clean that I sadly could not use. There was also a printing/computer station near the front desk if you need to print any last minute documents. The location is also amazing if you have any medical appointments at the clinics nearby. My stay was very comfortable and I look forward to staying another night when I’m in town.

Breakfast was okay and got better later on in the week. The beds are springy and uncomfortable and the pillows are not good at all. The staff was amazing, friendly and helpful - especially the cleaning ladies.

I stayed recently with family. It was a great clean hotel. They recently had outages due to the weather. They did email us offering free cancellation. We didn't take it. We appreciated being notified and having the option. We loved having a shaded pool.
