Breakfast was great as well as the front staff lady while checking in was super welcoming absolutely loved the place

Hotel does need some renovations but I know they are currently working on it. Other than that stay was great and the rooms were spacious.. was having a little bit of trouble with the A/C though

Nice location Airport shuttle did not run early enough for my flight

The carpet was dirty. I felt the stickiness from the dirty carpet and didn’t wanna walk barefoot. The breakfast buffet had a nice selection but the older lady attendant was pushy and tried taking over me making a waffle. She seemed irritated and even after I told her to stop she still took the batter cup from my hand and started pouring it. She was rude and to avoid more aggressiveness I left the breakfast room without any of my food. I couldn’t believe she would continue to ignore my requests to stop and kept putting her dirty hands on my food. She was gloved up and throwing trash and doing things all around the kitchen with those same gloves. I work in kitchens so I know what should and shouldn’t be done. Ignoring a direct request to stop was a slap in the face. I was sad this happened at the end of my stay because otherwise I had a great experience. The front desk staff was attentive and helpful. The property wasn’t bad looking and clean overall. Our room was nice and roomy. Lots of plugs but no working usb connection except the ones on the back of the TV. Used the laundry facilities $3.50 each for washer and dryer. Drinks and snacks are available to buy but be ready to spend $5 on a 20oz soda. I had a good experience up until the issue with the breakfast attendant. That left a bad taste in my mouth at the end of it all.

Passable

We enjoyed the trip and the stay everything was fine, however the only thing we didn’t like was the surprise parking lot fee, and the initial receptionist was a little rude, but overall our stay was good.
-
It was clean and peaceful. The streets getting to it looked like a residential neighborhood
-
No hot water for a few days, plus no water at all from 10am to 2 pm other than that it has good stay
-
They were installing security cameras outside room so had to keep shades closed. Then all night seen the flashing lights in my room. Staff very friendly.

This hotel is bad. Do not stay. Pictures look nothing like what the reality of this property is. Totally unacceptable and extremely disappointed. I hardly ever leave any reviews but this was bad.
-
The room was a little outdated, but clean. Staff was very friendly. My only real complaint was that there was no HOT water. The water was luke warm so it made showering unpleasant.
-
The room was clean and comfortable, and the front desk person I believe her first name start with E she was very nice and helpful.

Mrs. Emily at the front desk was super nice. This is our fourth year in a row visiting San Antonio, and we always stay at this hotel. The only thing I wasn't pleased with was the loud noise on the first floor. I don't know if it was maintenance or something else, but other than that, everything was really good.

Not was expecting. There was no hot water. Also, the room did not have have a microwave or fridge.

Location was great, close to the airport and hospital. The breakfast was fresh and good. The room and property overall was run down. The pillows were balled up, paint was peeling off the walls and corners. The shower itself was yellowed out and looked to now have been scrubbed down clean in a while, I did not dare step in without shower shoes (I usually don’t at hotels but sometimes they’re so clean you forget you have to wear them) for being a Hampton and the price, I really expected more. Only the first staffer to greet us at the door was nice. Everyone else was on their phones carrying at attitude. The pool said “pool & spa” but the spa was gone. A circular decorative concrete where the spa once was. Also the handicapped chair to enter the pool was rusted beyond repair and covered. Creepy to look at while we swam.
