Holiday Inn Express & Suites San Antonio-Dtwn Market Area by IHG

We stayed 5 nights with kids and our stay was good. Free self parking was a plus also being near H-E-B and restaurants. We would def stay there again. Rooms were clean and spacious, beds were comfortable, and breakfast was decent. About half a mile from market square and mile from riverwalk.

Staff was great and always very helpful. Rooms were clean, breakfast was always fresh and warm.

The breakfast options. The primary beds were comfortable. Access was easy. The cleaning was lacking. There was stains on the sofa couch, crumbs of old food on the bed portion of the sofa couch, there were spill marks on the side table showing they clearly were not sprayed and wiped down, there was stains on the sink area from like red lip stick or make up, there was a tag on the floor showing the vacuum wasn’t ran prior to arrival. Made me really nervous that the beds weren’t clean and that there may be critters but after inspecting the beds they seemed to be safe of critters from an only minimal checking. Only got one pic as I was showing to my daughter. I didn’t bother taking pics of the rest.

The staff were amazing I didn’t like that it all looked crammed in. The ceilings are not made for tall people.

Close to river walk and other things We stay only one night due my wife’s terminal illness we had to come back home. Hoping booking . Com will give us credit for the day we didn’t stay there (4) days

Service was great and valet

The property was great. Great location to everything. Not a bad review about the property.

Bed was fine and air TV didnt get service so I couldnt watch TV. No wifi working. Toliet didnt always flush. Water didnt get hot.

The location was pretty good. Although the location is pretty good and close to downtown, it is right next to a restaurant/bar that plays very loud music and you can hear it throughout the night.

The worst thing about stay was the very loud tejano music playing until 1am. I'm pretty sure it was from the beer garden place just behind the hotel. I don't know how that's aloud for a mostly outdoor establishment to play loud music until that late.

Check in was easy and convenient. I was allowed to check in a bit earlier which helped with my evening plans. Room was clean. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was great and parking was great. Even had security on the premises.
