Great unique place to stay

Guy at the front desk never got off the phone while checking me in. The hallway by my room had a stench to it. The lady checking me out was professional though.

Have to valet park since it is a downtown location.

Quirky old hotel in a walkable area. Breakfast was just coffee and a few packaged pastries. Bed was comfortable. Convenient valet parking, although nearby self park lots were cheaper and convenient too.

Unfortunately, the property did not meet my expectations. The photos posted on Google did not accurately reflect the rooms or their condition in person. The elevators are extremely small, which is worth keeping in mind when booking. Although the room was advertised to accommodate four guests, it felt very cramped and barely had enough space for two people comfortably. The room also did not feel particularly clean, and the temperature was uncomfortably warm during our stay.

Very cute hotel. I will agree with the Google reviews saying it's loud on the weekends at night. We loved our stay though.

Massive comfortable bed, good-sized fridge, great air conditioning, and the room was very clean and comfortable. Nothing, breakfast variety could be a touch better

Really great staff. Make sure specifically ask about parking at the front desk so you can get a discount. There is only public parking or valet. The restaurant is excellent.

The hotel was close to everything very walkable.

Nothing It wasn’t historic it was just old. Only 1 of the 2 tiny elevators was working. Every night between 10 and 12:30 there was constant traffic with loud horrors parading down the street. This is a known problem particularly for that street in San Antonio. Breakfast terrible. Service terrible. We paid a rate that would be normal for a nice hotel but didn’t receive adequate value.

This hotel was amazing. The location was amazing the parking was OUTSTANDING! Usually you have to do all these doggone steps to parking especially at Hilton. However this hotel was cut and dry. The parking was literally 25 steps about outside the front door. There was a restaurant on site and an actual hotel clerk all night. Hilton not so much and guess what you can actually call the front desk unlike Hilton. I loved this place i indicated to them I would prefer less noise and it happened. I heard no noises. Unlike Hilton whose own staff dont know how to shut up in the mornings!! Loved this place!! Also I have to apologize for not taking pics but remember this hotel resulted from an emergency situation where my hotel i booked power was out and no one was alerted even the hotels company which is Hilton! Nothing. Nothing was bad or hard to tolerate!
