Residence Inn by Marriott San Antonio North/Stone Oak

It was never mentioned anywhere before we booked this place that the hot tub and pool were not in working order. The breakfast was decent however they would not do ongoing cleaning so the breakfast area was pretty trashy. Food all over the floor and the attendant just standing there. The rooms are the best part about this place. We had a two bedroom with a full kitchen dining room living room and that was awesome. However, we did find some dead bugs in our place and the tubs in the bathrooms were worn down and this place really needs to be updated. There were some things on the walls that looked like rust. The wallpaper was pulling away from the wall. Like if they keep up with the maintenance of the amenities and keep the place clean and do some updating this place would be phenomenal.

The lack of maintenance makes the place look abandoned.

I had to sleep in the lobby because the AC unit in my room wasn’t working. It was so hot in there. I felt like a sauna and when I asked the front desk about getting a refund or getting some assistance with this, they told me their boss wasn’t coming until Monday since it was Labor Day weekend and I’ve been trying to call the property on and off no one ever answers and I just want my money back I only booked here because I needed something last minute and I think this is probably the worst place. I’ve stayed in the only thing good about the room is that the bathroom is somewhat renovated, but it stunk like armpit. Everything was old in the building only has one elevator and it’s a size of a closet I’d only recommend staying here if you’re literally only going to just leave your bags there and leave and be out most of the night and may come back for an hour or two other than that, I would not spend my entire day in this room. I didn’t even get to sleep in my room. I can’t believe I had to sleep in the hotel lobby.

Hotel not been taking care of. Very unkept. We checked in the room sheet are very dirty. asked to change to different room and not much better. Moldy Smell, not clean room. Front desk hanged up my calls. Overall, just not pleasant stay.

DO NOT BOOK! Dirty moldy smell as soon as you exit the elevators on the first floor. Dirty Pool, Dirty Spa, Dirty doors! Our 2 bedroom suite DID NOT have central air. They put 3 window units in. Bugs were able to get in under the cracks of the windows. ZERO PRIVACY because the curtains are long and if you close them you wouldn’t get any air. The kitchen was dirty, dishwasher was exposed from under the cabinet. The sink was filthy, old rusty,crusty fixtures. We had to bleach the refrigerator because it had a dirty moldy smell. We came to visit our airman for Labor Day weekend and didnt want to ruin it complaining but never ever agin would I stay here!

Room had all the things we needed to cook a few meals. Hotel very close to all local attractions which is what we were looking for.

We booked a two queen bed suite and we arrived at the hotel at 10 PM. They said they were sold out and were not the first person they had to tell that too. There was a glitch in the system. It was a total nightmare. We had no power at the house, which is why we needed a room and we end up having to go back to the house and sweat our butts off.

The hotel was just fine. staff very nice but the rooms no good. they gave us a room in third floor, the microwave was broken, there was cockroaches in the bathroom, we killed 2 of them ourselves. I requested to be moved to another room and we've move to the 4th floor. It was decent but I couldn't sleep thinking of cockroaches. I was there just for one night but I will never go back

Roach, unclean, old, tv in livingroom did not work, doors were filthy throughout the hotel. We could not stay the second night it was so gross. We lost our money, but chose to go to a different hotel.
