Sonesta ES Suites San Antonio Downtown Alamo Plaza

I didnt like that u have to pay for parking. Spending almost 500 for 2 nights then have to pay another 45 dollars to park is ridiculous and it didn’t say anything about that on booking.com thats the only thing I didnt like. Everything else was great!

Great location in the city center, just a short walk from Alamo, Riverside, Tower of Americas. Very spacious and clean room with good and quiet AC. Bad was very comfortable and I truly enjoyed staying there. Parking is paid a bit lot and not easily accessible - it was full during my stay so I had to park on the street.

When asked for lg. towels we were given pool towels. Lastly we were charged 3 separate fees. One fee with Hotel.com (higher than quoted) two additional fees from the hotel (one parking) not sure what was the other fee. RUN fast

Basic amenities are okay... The bathroom could use a new door, toilet seat...the tub caulking job was bad. The room would be average at best for a One bedroom suite that only comes with a queen size bed because the bedroom is quite small. There is better for the same rate in San Antonio.

First of all I want to shout out Maria at the front desk. She was super professional and helpful and really had a great attitude. She was genuinely helpful and made my trip 100 times better. The room was decent. I wish I had stayed longer. The breakfast in the morning was good. I had been traveling on a few hours sleep and between the hot shower decent breakfast and Maria’s great personality it made the trip that much better. The property is about a mile from the Alamodome and is an easy walk without getting stuck waiting on an overpriced uber. If you want to see the Alamo it’s almost on top of the hotel it’s so close.

Nice clean room. Having to pay for parking. I’m pretty sure they booked parking for the concert going on and not people staying in hotel.

Everything! Loved it the view, the location, the parking everything easy access to everything we wanted to go to! Awesome view as well! The ladies in front desk super sweet! Loved it I loved everything!

Breakfast was okay. If you’re in San Antonio, I recommend eating elsewhere because the food is excellent. My gripe about this place is that they don’t have enough parking for their rooms and I had to pay double to park on a public lot. That’s a deal breaker for me and I don’t expect to come back here.

Great value for the $$ and only a few blocks from the Henry Gonzalez Convention center, Riverwalk and downtown San Antonio.

The room was clean. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Overall, our state was very pleasant.

Breakfast was not as it was advertised. Needed variety of items.Same thing everyday.

Good value for money. It is close to The Alamo and Riverwalk. Staff is helpful. They gave us a map so we could see what’s nearby. Also, we asked for additional stuff like linens and towels, and they provided them with no issues. Room was clean. A/C worked great. Room has a refrigerator, microwave, sink, plates and utensils which make it convenient. TV has Netflix and YouTube. Our room has a queen bed and a sofa bed. They have a pool but we didn’t have a chance to use it because we were away during daytime. It says in their website that they have a fitness center but I didn’t see it, but I also didn’t ask about it so I might just have missed it. Breakfast is included, which is okay but needs more variety of options. They have coffee and tea 24/7, which is great!

The location was excellent for our travel plans. The hotel is really comfortable and the rooms are very spacious. Be mindful that there is charge of $35 dollars for daily parking
