LiA Hotel

Like other reviewers, I can say that being on the first floor, you can hear every single thing that happens in the room above you. I couldn't get too upset, because it was people traveling with us (although I did jokingly tell them to stop rearranging furniture). I had to take a first floor room due to mobility issues; if there had been an elevator I would have definitely taken a second floor room. However, overall, we were looking for an inexpensive room without a ton of added costs (parking and wifi were free) and that's what we got. Bathrooms are tiny, but have everything you need with good water pressure. Would stay again for short-term stays.

This is not a luxury full of ammenities hotel, but it's clean, it serves the purpose of having a place to go to sleep.

As a solo female traveler, I felt safe in this motel. This is a budget, no frills place with small, clean rooms. The air conditioner worked pretty well. It was convenient to have a Keurig, fridge and microwave in the room. There’s a small window that opens in the bathroom. The bathroom drains were slow moving which was gross. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows seemed old and kind of hard. Plenty of t.v. channels to watch. The walls are thin, so pray for quiet neighbors. I would recommend staying on the top floor because you can hear everything above you if on the bottom floor. There was an ice machine close to my room. Lots of restaurants are within walking distance, and the area felt very safe. Parking was easy and it was nice to be able to park right outside my room. The outside garbage cans were completely full for the 3 days that I was there which is not a great look for the property. There is a designated smoking area in the parking lot. The young lady at the front desk was happy and friendly, and I appreciated her help. Overall, the price matched the simplicity of the place. I would stay here again if traveling through the area.

The blankets was very thin and fragile The bathroom ceiling appears that it had molding covered up over paint in the corner side of the bathroom and you can still see distilled water from the ceiling for what it had did a previous where there's a previous leak they did not repaired the sheetrock .the sheetrock in the ceiling was not properly installed the the work was left undone and unprofessional.

I was highly skeptical of a budget, "mom-and-pop" property, but I walked away thoroughly satisfied. The Pros: CLEAN! no pests spotted and everything was very clean though a bit worn Excellent Room Lighting: The brightness throughout the room—and especially in the bathroom—made applying makeup incredibly easy. Thoughtful Accents: Framed photography of San Francisco added a great aesthetic touch to the walls. Amenities: They provided plenty of bathroom towels, makeup remover wipes, and a Keurig coffee maker. The air conditioning blew ice-cold, and there was plenty of hot water. The Drawbacks:The property is on the older side and experiences a light-to-medium noise level. No Lobby Extras: Do not expect any standard resort or business lobby amenities. The Neighborhood: We didn't stay long enough to form a firm opinion, though it has the vibe of a kitschy, working-class area. They’ve done a great job with what they have. Super clean. I would stay here again.

Good stay

Would advise in updating/renovating interior. Exterior looks great, interior needs work. Training for staff on expectations/standards, best practices and details before calling a unit clean and ready. Items to note- hair, beer bottle cap found during my stay.

The room was clean, bed comfortable, night stands on both sides of the bed, friendly staff, location good with lots around. The room was a bit small/tight and the bathroom could use some hooks for clothes.… I must say we got used to it though. Good stay for the price.

I have found The LIA to a great place to stay. It’s comfortable, clean and affordable. I’ve stayed there on several occasions through the last 5 years. The staff is always friendly and professional.
