Best Western San Diego/Miramar Hotel

Room is dated. Bathroom is small and looks really old, the floor tiles look dirty. Good if you only intend to sleep in it. Breakfast is decent and staffs are very helpful, love them!

Breakfast was ok. Room smells strongly of cleaning chemicals. Air conditioner was very loud. Carpet is dirty. Not worth the cost paid

The staff was great, the location wasn’t the best. There was a guy walking around with a ski-mask who we saw trying to open a door on the first floor. The pool wasn’t very clean.

The hotel was absolutely filthy. The carpet in the room smelled like mold and its outdated. Roaches crawling along the walls throughout the property. My husband stayed for only an hour. Dropped off his stuff in the room, went to lunch, got back, and checked out. The manager, Wendy, insist on charging for one night and stated my husband was smoking in the room. She’s lying and trying to get money out of us. The staff is rude and not even worth asking about the conditions of the room bc they’re all the same. I would definitely avoid booking this property. I’m sure this is where the drug dealers and hookers visit bc it’s that “type” of hotel. The pool was dirty and water had algae, the size was very small too! Another visitor told me the breakfast is not a full breakfast and they limit what they put out. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTY, it’s not worth your money.

Cons: the clerk was on the phone. She assured us that we were safe but she was calling the police because she didn’t feel safe. Someone was lurking around the grounds. We did not feel safe. The door to our room kept sticking when we had to close it. Same with the bathroom. The breakfast, which the clerk assured us was the best around, was awful. Tables were not wiped down after someone left so EVERYTHING was sticky. Things were mislabeled. Sausages looked uncooked. Finally, the hotel was located in a rough part of the neighborhood ! All of this for $300 per night. Don’t stay here!

Plenty of parking. My son had a great time in the pool. Staff was very willing to turn the fire pit on for us. Staff is very helpful and accommodating. The carpets in our room were pretty dirty needed a cleaning. Overall nice place.

It is close to the highway and shopping centers

The second stay the night shade would not go back up. It was an older building which showed. Carpet was heavily stained.

This was my second time at this Best Western. Our room was spotless and that means alot to me. There's ample parking and the lot is well maintained. The breakfast was A-plus , hot and a nice vairity for my 5 day stay. The eating area was always clean. The woman that maintained the eating area was friendly and helpful.

Location was good right off the hwy, staff was pleasant. Bathroom and carpet could use an update. Beds were not comfy and water pressure was low. They only serve Pork sausage meats for breakfast, not everyone eats pork. Other hotels i've stayed at serve turkey or chicken alternatives. I had to go to the front desk 4 times to get new keys because the keys to my room would stop working, very frustrating every time. Staff said the keys were sensitive. Update your system and there wouldnt be an issue. Never had that issue at other places I stayed.

There’s no AC in my room, and the staff couldn’t help me change any other rooms. I stay in heat all night and then they refuse to give me a refund. Will never come back to this hotel again.It’s

Damp and dirty carpet. Stinky room

The breakfast was really good! Hot eggs, potatoes and sausage. Also a waffle station. The room was clean and appeared to be freshly renovated. It was a good sized room as well. I had no complaints about my stay!
