Courtyard by Marriott San Diego Airport/Liberty Station

Looking tired for a 9yr old Marriott. Carpet has stains and tile needs a good scrubbing.

Very comfortable bed and great location.

The room was clean and had a great balcony with a beautiful view overlooking the water. The hotel is also conveniently located within walking distance of Liberty Station. The sink did have some cracks, but otherwise, the room was comfortable. It would be nice if the hotel had a small shop where guests could purchase souvenirs, sunscreen, and a better selection of snacks and drinks.

Very nice in a great part of town and close to the airport. Couldn’t ask for much more!

The property felt somewhat dated and darker than expected. More importantly, the front desk experience could use improvement. Staff interactions came across as flippant and, at times, made it feel as though asking a question was an inconvenience. A customer service refresher for the front desk team would go a long way toward creating a more welcoming and professional guest experience.

The female receptionist was so rude and not helpful at all. Completely appalled at the lack of friendliness and common decent courtesy of that specific woman.

Starbucks on the property is good option in the morning

This was a great hotel for the price point. The property is nice, in a good location, and has the expected amenities. Good overall experience.

We stayed in room 412 when the hotel was booked to capacity on Labor Day weekend. There was a very loud, deafening, low-frequency hum caused by the AC system, and my ten-year old daughter, who has above-average hearing, was very upset because her ears hurt, as was I. We asked to switch rooms, but they could not because they were booked at full capacity. They offered us ear plugs, which did not help much because the thrum could be heard and felt through the ear plugs. My daughter was also unable to use ear plugs because she finds them generally uncomfortable. We did not sleep very well, and I was so exhausted and drowsy that I actually walked into the wall at night when using the bathroom. They offered to switch our room the next night, if we approached them in the morning. The manager later came up the next morning and confirmed that the noise was indeed so loud that the walls vibrated. They switched our rooms the next morning, and we checked in later that afternoon. They called us that afternoon and told us that we had left some of our luggage in 412. We went down later only to find out it was not our luggage. Then, later at night, right as my daughter was about to fall asleep at 9:44 pm, they call us again and to ask if we had left our luggage in 412. I felt incredibly frustrated since we were supposed to have an early morning at the zoo. To make issues worse, the AC had a mildew-like odor. This is the first time that we have had such an awful experience at a Marriott.

Rooms are standard size, and also clean and nice. Big lobby-nice to hang out with family and friends to chat

Beautiful hotel. View was great, clean room.

Property is located next to the water, & airport which caught the attention of our toddler. Plenty of space to adventure out to, very large part just to north of the property. Check in staff seemed a little meh, during check in and check out. Don’t believe their electronic system lined up perfectly with booking.coms system. We payed ahead of time but upon arrival and departure. The hotels system still showed an un paid tab?
