Hampton Inn & Suites San Diego Airport Liberty Station

Only knock on the facility is lack of a hot tub. Build a hot tub and we will definitely stay again!

Ok comfortable bed

Breakfast is the typical Hampton breakfast. Eggs cheese omelet, sliced smoked sausage, not the breakfast kind, potatoes, waffles, oatmeal, and of course the bagel, toast, fruit and yogurts. (Be sure to close the lids after the line of people in front of you or you may get scolded by staff. Hope his day got better.) We ate there the first morning. The second day we chose to walk over to Primo's for breakfast burritos, and Starbucks, relativity close in walking distance. Must recommend the Corvette Diner and a stroll to it from the hotel along the bay.

Breakfast was great. Room was very nice, great area convenient to everything.

This was the only hotel that we stayed at that we weren't able to utilize a luggage cart because they were all being used. We were told that the hotel only had three. This surprised us with the hotel being the size that it was and made it a bit of an inconvenience. Breakfast the first morning was pretty good. There was a selection of pastries, a waffle maker, fruit, cereal, eggs, and oatmeal. The second morning was disappointing. The oatmeal was more than half water. I tried to strain it, but it was still too watery. There were also no eggs in the server, even though we were at breakfast pretty early. There was no fruit and no pastry that morning either. Not a big deal, but disappointing when you're trying to eat before heaing out for a full day.

Breakfast-horrible experience. The worst we have ever had. Went to grab breakfast during the allotted time period. The floor was sticky. There was nothing to eat. Stood in line for waffles only for the waffles to be all gone. Asked if there was more, but told there was not. They were saving the rest for tomorrow. There was no fruit or muffins. The eggs were gone. They brought more and instead of changing the pan, more eggs were dumped into the container. There was not any milk for cereal. We had to drive and get breakfast. Ridiculous when we paid to have breakfast at the hotel. We won’t be staying here ever again.

Great room, close to the airport. Good option

Excellent location, great customer service

Our stay was just what we were looking for. Clean, Close to the airport, easy walk to dinner location. ONLY negative was that we had the first flight of the day and the hotel van didn’t start soon enough. The front desk was VERY helpful and set us up with a local driver for a low rate. That driver was outside waiting when we came into the lobby 10 minutes early. Truly a positive experience.

The location is good. Staff was great. Hotel is clean. The coffee was tasteless. The breakfast eggs were OK. Not much selection on the breakfast buffet. The hotel is very expensive.

Everything was great

The first room we were placed in had a sewage smell. Because of our arrival time and travel plans I did not notice until the evening of the second night. When I brought it to the attention of the staff I was told it was a “known issue” for that room. They offered to “smell bomb” the room the next day. As someone with allergies and two small children, I requested to move rooms. We were not able to move until our third day. The second room was fine.

My expectations were not met. I came in and after the fourth day, no one came into clean, empty wasterpaper, I had to get more cups and coffee from housekeeping. I called down to the front desk to ask if they would come to my room the next Molans that did not happen. I went down to the front desk and the gentleman counted the days I had stayed and asked what I needed. I got cups, no lids to keep it warm and coffee along with towels as I told them I had not checked. I got a diet Pepsi and he said he would comp me. Big deal!!! I want to say the lady at the front desk in the morning was very nice and had great customer service!!!!

The breakfast staff were very nice Location: advertised as being in Liberty Station and technically maybe it is but it’s really not close to the main part of liberty Station and not within walking distance to the amenities and shops and restaurants there which is over a mile away.. to get in the car and drive to get to a decent coffee shop location..

This is a great airport hotel with easy access to the Liberty Station area of San Diego. We were just there overnight between flights, and we were able to walk back to the terminal.
