Great stay

Had a great 4 th of July even thou it was a last minute decision enjoyed the hotel the Marriott properties is the only place to stay

Room not ready until 6.30 pm . No parking 4 th July

The next day, I got an alert that my card was charged $333.86 while I was out all day. I was worried because I hadn't used any hotel services. The front desk couldn't clearly explain the charge. At first, they even said it might be for the pool, but we never used the pool. I ate at Sunglow and told them not to charge it to my room. I paid with my credit card and kept the receipt. Later, I found out they charged me twice. Instead of fixing it right away, they told me to call my credit card company to prove I had already paid. I also asked a manager what the "E-Channel Retail" charge was because I thought I was being charged hundreds of dollars more. She kept saying, "You don't stay here for free," instead of explaining my bill. I had already paid for my room at check-in. I only wanted to understand the charges. My son finally helped explain that using room charge caused the hotel to increase the authorization on my card. I understand that this may be the hotel's policy, but it should be explained during check-in. If someone had told me, I wouldn't have been stressed thinking I was being overcharged. At check-out, the restaurant charge was still on my room even though I had already paid. After waiting again, another manager fixed the duplicate charge, apologized, and clearly explained that the $1,500 was only a pending author

There is misleading information and advertisements on Expedia for the room we booked.

The hotel has a great location but I have had issues with my reservations on multiple occasions where they overbooked and I received a room that was not what I reserved. If there is an event or holiday the staff is a bit overwhelmed. You will have to pay minimum 55 dollars for parking and you may end up in a dirt parking lot which is not easy to move luggage on. Valet fills fast if it is a busy day. Would expect a bit more from a property like this. Especially since they use surge pricing during popular holidays.

The double queen room was not spacious enough for four people, but staff was very accommodating to our needs and provided requested items as needed. Overall we enjoyed the stay.

Overall the rooms were clean but the carpet was old and made your feet black. And the beds were comfy but the towels were paper thin and very old also. We were unable access the properties pool on the 4th of July due to a private event they were hosting, and we were not made aware of it prior to our stay. Also there are no conveniences on the property like a little store to buy water or even a vending machine! The pluses are , the location right in front of the Bay, and very friendly staff.

i didnt know that it would be like a motel/open to the outdoors. we stayed in the lanai towers and had to walk far for the lobby as well. clean room nice area by the water but just not as expected with the motel kind of room. Guest service lady on the phone was rude when i asked for towels,other staff nice.

We stay here at least once a year, always have a great time. The recently remodeled look was impressive, the restaurants are excellent.

The little market contains actually healthy snacks! Delicious hangar steak at X bar- good staff, great waiter! Room is clean and well maintained. Shuttle and hotel pricing were key decision points for choosing Sheraton again.
