Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott San Diego Pacific Beach

The rooms were very close to the street and very noisy. If you need a quiet space to sleep this is not it.

This property was subpar for the price.

Very good start

I had originally requested a King room, but when I arrived and got to my room, it was to Queens instead. I went back downstairs and she told me that because I booked on Expedia that the King room wasn’t guaranteed and they would just give me whatever room is available. She also never explained that I needed a key to put on the wall when you first walk in the room to turn on all the electricity. She was not helpful and seem to not enjoy her job. When I first walked in the door out the pool was broken so it was open somewhat, but had caution tape X’ing it out. Breakfast in the morning was decent, they did run out of all the hot food when I was down there at 8:30 AM, but was able to make a waffle and they had cold items such as fruit, yogurt, and cereal. I honestly would not stay here again with the price that I paid.

Easy to get to from the freeway and great access to morning walk location across the street.

The room was ok not roomy but parking is excellent and breakfast was well served.

Super-clean, excellent shower, attractive decor, good location. Only complaint: a hard-to-use TV channel finder.

They never changed the towels or came inside to clean room and make the bed or change the towels. The body soap was not replenished. Hard time taking a shower with no body soap or bottle was probably empty

They did not enter my Bonvoy account number when I checked in and then charged me for internet that should have been complimentary. I understand that this can happen. But when I called and spoke with someone to correct the problem they said they would take care of it and never did. I had to call back again. The lack of follow through on fixing the problem is where I take execption.

The property clean and excellent services

The hotel was kinda new, has new fixtures. I enjoyed the daily breakfast and looked forward to it everyday Just a minor thing but when I moved the mattress as I was looking for something, the carpet on the head part of the bed/bed frame was dirty

Property was well maintained and clean. Free Breakfast had many selections and all tasted good.

The room service were missing. The used towels were not replaced for my three night stay. No bottle drinking water were provided as other hotels. Customer has to go to frond desk to ask bottle water and then charge customer $3.23 for each bottle. Very bad experience and will not come to this hotel again.

Nice location clean room…

Clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly. Do to mission bay traffic getting in and out can be a little tricky.
