San Diego Mission Bay Resort

The staff at thy front desk was just ok for a resort. There was a huge cockroach corpse by the trash can in my room and housekeeping didn't even clean it up when they came. The pool is completely dominated by children with no adult only option.

Surprise amenities and parking fees not included in Expedia prices over $100 per day whether you use the amenities or not. More of a hotel not a resort.

The hotel is a bit run down. You see it in the small details, smelly carpet, coffee pot not functioning, gross shower head, TV kept shutting down (trying to check us out at 11pm the night before we were leaving) ???

The only complaint I would have is that the pool area closes at 10pm. Being on vacation would have loved to be able to enjoy the beautiful nights at that beautiful pool

Lots of homeless people around the outside as well. The pool was nice though and the beach is walkable.

Pretty nice resort, not quite as impressive as pictures online showed. We barely used any of the resort features but seemed like there were a lot of options. All staff were pleasant.

The property was just adequate. It definitely needs a facelift.

We came from my parents wedding anniversary and it was a perfect location to celebrate.

It was my first time in California, safe to say I chose a Great spot! Food was great, very clean, staff was great!! 10/10

Everything was excellent! The staff were very friendly and helpful after a long day that is so welcoming. The restaurant was very welcoming and friendly and the food was delicious.

Our stay was excellent.

I book 3 rooms for 7 of us in my family. My wife and 4 kids were supposed to have connecting rooms. I called the day prior to confirm but during check in i was informed the rooms were not connected but next door. They were in opposite hallways next to a non working ice machine. This hotel is overpriced with small rooms. Do not waste your time or your money you will be disappointed.

Stood in room 238 a water view(on the bay) king room and bathroom had mold :( and bubbling ceiling indicating water damage…front desk did give us a room change 1 door down to 242 and that room did not have as much mold damage as other. The humidity from bay does effect the rooms. I was saddened to see another guest was in room 238 right after us. Mold is a health hazard. Resort itself is great with cleanliness and with location.

The room was clean and the staff friendly.

I love the set-up of the property, well maintained green grass. I love the mango coconut lotion and shampoo/body soap. Though we didn’t get to use much of the amenities it was available. Was there complimentary breakfast? Hotel rooms were adequate I should have gotten a bigger room with small kitchen. For a resort it would be nice if the place had self serve laundry. Some of the ice machines were out of service. Please fix. Overall nice resort, Right on the beach!

It doesn’t feel like a resort ~ more like a hotel with small pool and beach access. More suitable for family with younger kids .

Overall it wasn’t the best location for our family and it wouldn’t be my recommendation unless you simply are looking for a resort set up without any included amenities. For the resort fees you pay, there should be some included bonus but we didn’t find much of anything.

Amazing experience!

Central location to all the kid friendly places. The amenities were good. My kids enjoyed the heated pool. We stayed at the villa. The room had an old/mildew smell. The flooring was not the cleanest. Cleaning staff forgot cleaning rags each day they came to clean. 3/5 for room cleanliness. Restrooms at the pool area should be attended more often. Floor was always wet with toilet paper every where.
