The only reason I do not give a 5 stars it’s because of the Manager Abraham. Super rude, he loses customers because of his attitude and bad customer service. He make us wait till 4:30 pm to do the check in, with a horrible attitude. Anything you need, he will NOT help with. Terrible experience because of him.

The parking lot is extremely narrow and small, with barely any pavement and almost nonexistent parking space striping. The room itself was very basic and, unfortunately, dirty. The carpets were old and filthy, and I honestly didn’t feel comfortable walking on them without socks or shoes. There were gnats constantly flying around the bathroom, and there was even toilet paper on the bathroom floor when we first entered the room after checking in. One of the shower doors was so difficult to move that it was practically unusable and leaked water onto the bathroom floor every time we showered. The shower head also dripped continuously throughout the night, so I had to keep the bathroom door closed just to avoid hearing it. The walls are extremely thin. We could clearly hear conversations from the neighboring rooms, which made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. The bedside table light also had a loose wire. If my son touched the wire, the light would turn off. Housekeeping was another major issue. I left the “Please Make Up Room” hanger on the door for three consecutive days, and housekeeping never came. I eventually had to go to the front office myself to get clean towels. The one real positive is the location. It’s about five minutes from SeaWorld, roughly 10–15 minutes from the San Diego Zoo.

Stayed 4 nights for family beach vacation. Great no frills hotel that is 5-10 minutes from the beach and Sea World. Clean rooms. AC worked great. Fridge and microwave was nice to have. Lots of restaurants and grocery stores near by. We had a great experience and will be back.

Terrible experience. The place doesn't look like the pictures, I found cockroaches in the bed and in the bathroom twice

We loved our one night stay! My daughter and I enjoyed the pool and spa at night and we were very close to stores and restaurants which made everything much easier.

Clean room peaceful stay.

Price was good

Very run down. Pictures are deceiving. It’s a run down motel, not an inn. Did not feel very clean or safe.

Hotel is poorly Maintained. Killed 4 roaches. They service by making bed daily but never picked up the pile of roaches that we continued to kill them in the corner

Looks like a recent upgrade (shower, furniture), friendly front desk. Slightly sketchy area if driving in from I-8, but not bad once you get there. Groceries and chain restaurants nearby. Great location.

Bugs in room, smelled of mold

The positives. 3 members of the staff were above and beyond. 1 staff member didn't really seem to care much about the customers. Parking is free. Cost of rooms are cheap. The air conditioning worked. The downside. Seemed every night there was a pool party. Didn't always end at 10pm. Like 30 plus people. Very loud. Something was off with the door. I had to go to the front desk to ask about it. They said pull up in the handle. Do not push down. Should have mentioned this before. The real issue I had was when I was making the bed, I moved a pillow and a cockroach ran across the bed. It was too late for me to change hotels. The location, of the hotel was great, but the cockroach was a deal breaker for my next trip to San Diego. I do not recommend this hotel after my first and only visit. Which is unfortunate because I did like the staff. Overall, this might be a 2 star hotel.

The room was generally okay, but it had a very strong unpleasant odor that made the stay less comfortable.

The room was not clean and there were cockroaches in the room. The staff was not helpful and did not address the issue properly. Overall, I was disappointed with my stay and would not recommend this hotel.

Room was full oof gnats, beetles and fruit flies. Shower room seemed unclean and the shower head was leaky. Floor was absolutely filthy and damp. Staff at front was unsure and awkward and not really helpful. Parking is free and spacious which is nice. AC was very humid and cut in and out frequently.
