Don’t expect maid service unless you ask for it and the hot tub wasn’t maintained until the weekend
-
Not sure why they tried to put us in a room that obviously wouldn't fit us to begin with, and then give us the runaround when we pointed it out.
-
The question is what did I like??? I was not impressed, terrible experience will not be staying there again

The staff was super friendly, but this hotel is outside therefore you can see all traffic and hear everything going outside. The price is great. Was safe. The pool was really small right next to Panera very awkward place to be at.

This is a great hotel with a couple of great amenities.

Quiet

Room was decent. Nothing special about this place, it’s similar to a Motel 6 but way more expensive.

One thing to know is that parking is $20 per night, and they let you know about the fee when you check in. The parking lot was spacious and easy to navigate, so it never felt cramped. The hotel provides a parking pass for your vehicle, which helps ensure that only hotel guests park there. The air conditioner in our room worked well and kept the room comfortable throughout our stay. The room was clean and looked just like the photos online. We didn’t see any bugs in our room, which was something we especially appreciated after reading some reviews before our trip. The location was very convenient, with many restaurants, stores, and the attractions/ beaches we wanted to visit all nearby. Overall, we had a very good experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends. We would happily stay here again the next time we visit San Diego!

Found another hotel first was placed in a handicap room the shower water ran all over the bathroom floor. I found not one but two roaches told the front deck they moved us to the second floor as to speak to the manager three times left messages he ducked me everytime the only good thing is the location its close to everything do not stay here!!

Roaches in the bathroom, and they would not accommodate.

Good location for Sea World

Room was very clean. Bathroom is a bit small. Pool was accessible and clean. Plenty of chairs to lounge by pool. Plenty of parking but a bit expensive ($20 fee). Toiletries were fully stocked. Good place to stay.

Checked into my room and there were wet areas in the room. Was too tired to complain. Cleaned it up and went on w my day, plus they didn’t have other rooms. Second day came around I called front desk at 12 noon to get housekeeping to change sheets and clean towels. Mind you there’s a sign on the wall by the sink that states they do that daily but either way I called and requested, we got back to our room at 8pm and nothing was done. Remember we are in a beach area so we def need house keeping due to sand and so on. Anyways I called front desk and they said no housekeeping on property I told them that’s why I called at noon. They stated they would call me back and nothing. Also we had ac on and it got cold so we turned on the heater to bring it down a bit and the smoke alarm went out a minute in, which did not help make me feel safe in that room, due to that alone. Ice machine didn’t work, and no towels in pool area and not too busy at pool to be the reason. Hated this stay even w the decent price it should still cost way less for all of these issues. Train your front desk better and have housekeeping there to begin with.

It just wasn’t what we thought it would be.

I booked and prepaid a suite through Expedia. When I arrived, the room had clearly been smoked in, with a heavy deodorizer being used to mask the odor. The front desk agent was polite and moved me to a smaller room, which I accepted because I simply needed a place to sleep. The real problem started after checkout, when I was unexpectedly charged an additional $155.48. After multiple calls, no one could explain the charge. Staff repeatedly transferred me, avoided taking responsibility, and on several occasions hung up on me. They even disconnected an Expedia representative after he mentioned my reservation. I spent over four hours trying to resolve an error that was entirely the hotel’s fault. The issue turned out to be simple: instead of transferring my prepaid reservation when I changed rooms, they created a second reservation and charged me again. The only bright spot was Perla, the manager on duty, who finally listened, apologized, and corrected the mistake. Unfortunately, by then the damage had been done. After 25 years working in hospitality, I understand that mistakes happen. What I cannot overlook is the complete lack of professionalism, accountability, and customer service from most of the staff. Because of how this was handled, I will never stay at this property—or another Wyndham property—again.

Everything was great. No complaints.

Located in a very worn down part of San Diego. Will not stay here again. The staff was very friendly and professional.

Staff was very nice.

It’s a decent hotel, if you’re only staying a few nights. The staff was kind and the room was clean, unfortunately, after a couple of days, a few baby roaches showed up. There was plenty of parking, but I had to talk to two different staff members in order to find where the laundry was located.

Nice place and lots of stores and restaurants around! (Target, ralphs)
