I stayed in a shared bunk bed room. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Beds were comfortable as well. Big lockers, and coffee table and chair inside the room. Everything was clean. Bathrooms were also very clean. You can tell staff doesn’t a great work cleaning every day. Only issue with the building (and probably the area) is that it has a urine smell that seems to never go away. The rooms have A/C and were very fresh the whole time. I appreciate that. I enjoyed the common areas, perhaps my favorites from the three hostels I visited during my trip. I enjoyed watching the World Cup matches with the folks staying there, and the atmosphere. Staff were very friendly and professional. I recommend this place if you’re traveling solo!

in a 3bunk beds dorm we got blessed with the bottom bunks which was great but also overall that place very well kept and cleaned and the lady who check us in was extremely helpful definitely cant wait to come stay there again in the future and the air conditioner in the room was amazing
-
It was noisy, as expected. My only complaint was the pillows, oh my god they were hard. Other than that what I needed was a place to sleep and that's what I got
-
Staff was fantastic. Room was clean & I was able to check out early
-
Great staff . They couldn’t be more helpful
-
The AC unit in the room was just ok, kinda loud and made sleep difficult.

Staff was generally friendly. One woman at front desk seemed like she was suffering a caffeine withdrawal as was unsmiling and annoyed. The others there were very helpful and friendly. I rented a solo room which had bunk beds. The lower mattress was so worn out that it felt like a hammock. I used upper bed but what a pain to have to climb down at 04:00 to go to bathroom. Those cards are a bit ridiculous as too big to fit anywhere comfortably. The white digital cards are much better because it’s a standard credit card size but change the color to red or blue so more visible ! Overall a pleasant stay. Not sure about how they sanitize cups. I asked where they were and worker points to dish rack. Does that mean I am drinking from a cup that wasn’t professionally cleaned/sanitized ?

Location Shared restrooms. No breakfast
-
It was good for the amount paid The room smelled funny but I think because the building is old! Definitely needed air fresheners or lysol or something
-
I love the fact it's a renovated building. being an old building, it was slightly musky- but it's expected with the type of building.
-
They helped me when I had a issue and did it immediately and in the best way, personal is always nice
-
I will stay there again
-
Location, cleaning Generally old, Bathroom needs renovation
-
? Small private room with 2beds one over the other and common rest room, no breakfast

Staff are great. Location is great (eight minutes walk to Padres stadium!), very clean and the best kitchen by far that I've ever seen in a hostel. I will return!
-
The cleanest space I’ve seen in a long while. I wish hospitals were this clean. Comfortable mattress, plenty of towels, not too noisy, even though located on Market Street. Filtered drinking water, hot tea and coffee always provided. Close to public buses, short walking distance to good markets and cafes. Highly recommended to solo travelers.

The hostel is in a central area with tons to do around! The dorms, bathrooms, and common areas were all very clean and the staff is very nice and helpful.
-
Plenty of communal space. Privacy curtains on beds. Plenty of extra bathrooms. Good location, near everything, N/A
-
The location was perfect. Good security. I can’t believe it cost over $100/night for a mattress that was so used that I had to try and sleep in the middle to not fall into a dip… woke up with awful back pain. Front staff were not friendly, overall worth the stay of a 30$ single room
