Hotel Z

No comments, but this was my first time and will be the last one in my life.

Great hotel! Very clean and comfortable

Loved staying at Hotel Z. The room was small, but very functional and had everything we needed. The staff was great. And the location was ideal for getting around in the local area. There is no hotel parking, but several lots nearby, so that wasn’t a problem. It is a charming place, and we will definitely stay there again.

The room not having a iron included is what is keeping my amenities score from being 5/5. Besides that, everything was great.

This was really nice for a boutique hotel. I liked that they give you a gym pass. They also had coffee made in the morning. Water for the room. Staff was really friendly and helpful. I would stay again.

Great hotel and location!

My son and I stayed here the night of a Padres vs. Dodgers game and had a wonderful stay. It's a short walk to the stadium, with great restaurants and amenities close by. The staff were very friendly and the place was clean and well maintained. If you're looking for a great place at a great price for the night of a game or for a nice time in the Gas Lamp District of San Diego, I would highly recommend this hotel.

Small hotel but super comfortable, clean and nice! The location is extremely convenient, it was so close to everything we needed to do, we literally walked everywhere. Perfect place for a weekend getaway

The first thing I didn’t like is how they do not have parking. Every hotel should have their own parking lot or at least a lot next-door to park in. Not ideal at all. I don’t like how there’s no pool or Jacuzzi. They tell you you can get a pass to an offsite place, which is again not ideal and a pain. The guy who checked me in, seemed annoyed for some reason. He was nice, but it just didn’t seem very hospitable. I went to the front desk to ask for something, and when I walked up to the girl, I asked her how she was doing. Her response was “I’m good.” not “Hi, not hello, not how are you or how is your day going?” RUDE Upon checkout, she never asked how our stay was. I worked for hotels for over 10 years, and I always asked every single guest how their stay was. We probably won’t be back.

No refrigerator in the room. Air con worked well. Good central location.

Hotel Z was a clean, cute, and quiet place to stay for a weekend in the Gaslamp Quarter. The location was very convenient and close to all of the bars and restaurants nearby. The bed was comfortable and our room was extremely quiet at night despite all of the night life nearby. We weren’t aware we’d be charged an additional $25+ per day upon check-in for “amenities” that we didn’t use or need. Despite the hidden fee, we enjoyed our weekend at Hotel Z!

Clean room, no iron, complimentary drink

Hotel location was great! The hotel sofa cushions in our suite were very stained and didn’t stay on the sofa. Some of the light fixtures where u plugged when arriving to room first time but not big deal we plugged in and everything worked. My wife said it was one of the most comfortable beds she has ever stayed in!
