Pleasant

The hotel itself was great, right in the middle of downtown. It was under construction but we didn’t hear it. Be aware that it is in the middle of downtown San Diego and as the night falls the streets get louder and unfortunately a lot of homeless people around the hotel location. We were there during a Padres game and lost our parking at a garage down the street when we left to the beach, I would account for that during your stay. There is a public parking garage a few blocks down and is about $15-20, whereas valet is $70.

Great location at Gaslamp. We went to the Padres vs Brewers game and only had to walk about 3 blocks to the stadium. Nice hotel. Room wasn’t the biggest but for a couple it’s great

Very convenient to the San Diego convention center, clean and quiet, welcome drink was a nice touch, they were doing construction while I was there so the elevator was slow and covered with cardboard during my stay. No issues and would stay here again.

Location was great. Relatively Close to San Diego convention center. Good price but has hidden amenity fee.

One of the best values and best locations of a hotel in downtown San Diego!

We picked this place primarily for the pool in the hotel pictures. When we arrived we found out that the pool was 6 blocks away. When we asked about checking in early we were told that check in was at 4 but our room might be ready by 2. We arrived a little after 2 and found out our room was ready, but that they charged a $50 early check in fee. We chose to pay the "because we can" fee rather than awkwardly wait in the lobby for 2 hours. Overall we liked the room and the location was good, but we won't be coming back and would not recommend it to others.

The location of the hotel is great in that it is right in the middle of everything. There is construction in the building. recommend requesting a room not facing the street since there is quite a bit of noise on the weekend with late night shenanigans. There is no hotel parking other than valet. The nearest lot is a block away.

Very average as the price

We had a great stay at Hotel Z. Lovely place. Friendly staff. Comfortable room. We chose this place for it’s proximity to Petco Park. It’s a short 5-10 minute walk. The hotel is in a vibrant location, the Gaslamp district, with a plethora of dining and drinking options.

Great location but a bit of hidden costs with $65 for parking and another $34 in taxes and charges above and beyond the quoted room taxes and charges.

What a great boutique hotel with spacious, clean and comfortable rooms. Reasonable prices.

Located close to the stadium The room wasn’t as nice as when we stayed a couple of years ago. The bedding wasn’t as good, the carpet in the room was frayed . And the shower wouldn’t turn off completely
