It’s one of the better hotels to stay at in the gaslamp District
-
The hotel itself is kept up well and a nice atmosphere. The only thing that that made me upset with this property and ruined our stay ( no fault to the property itself on what happened but on how it was dealt with) is when we where in the pool and somebody decided to poop in the pool. it was deff a adult i saw it for myself as i was in the water. i would think the property would empty the pool, clean it and refill it but nope i was wrong. they just removed the poop add chemicals and reopened it later on. we couldn't bring ourselves to go back in. Do better Margaritaville on protecting others health even at the cost to you on cleaning it properly.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. I do wish there was some security in the hotel since it’s in the Gaslamp district which seems to have a rowdy nightlife.

Well decorated and bright rooms; nice lobby. Decent gym. The pool was not well maintained at all and was dirty. The service at the pool was poor. The lounge chair cushions were nasty. Trash and food left everywhere. Our toilet leaked, and the shower drained slowly. Above us it sounded like they were moving furniture at 2:00 a.m. It was our second time staying there, and we won't stay there again. I will say they play good live music in the main bar by the lobby. Hotel is decorated well, and super close to the ball park. Many of the staff members were friendly and a some of them not. Sort of a mix.

We stayed in a deluxe 2-bed queen. There was not a microwave or a mini fridge, but a small beverage cooler. The pool only goes to 3ft high and the hotel held a $500 deposit for a four night stay. Prior to arriving we pre-booked and paid for a day bed cabana rental and it was soiled. The food was mid at best from the property restaurants. The live music and events the hotel held in addition to the location saved our experience. Also, not at all a family friendly hotel.

We booked a one room suite, not a cheap room. Our first smelled like a broken sewer pipe, we lasted 20 seconds. Front desk gave us another suite, TV had to be replaced, the 4 chairs at the dinner table were all stained/soiled. I would not recommend this place.

Was a little annoyed late check out wasn't fully explained but it was a great stay.

We loved our 3 night stay, from the service, to the clean room, every was wonderful. We will be coming back.
-
Room and facility very clean and staff friendly and attentive. Will definitely stay there again the next time in the Gaslamp are of San Diego.
-
Loved the pool cabana experience and the roof top bar
-
The hotel is on point with its theme! The pool is small. But overall it is a solid property.

Hotel staff was great. LandShark food and service was great. Our room was cute but was a little worn down, it was clean, but it was not serviced while we were gone all day (leaving trash full and no towels). The pool deck was dirty, trash cans were full and the water was murky.
-
Lots of restaurants around the hotel. Only issue is that it’s a steep price $70 for valet parking. Being a visitor, we were unfamiliar with the parking rules and any nearby self-parking, so did the valet parking for convenience. Staff were friendly, courteous and professional. Pool is very very small and not much room for even a small crowd. Easy to get on the highways too. Close to the San Diego zoo. Definitely would recommend!

Property staff is friendly but bathrooms and rooms are average
-
I loved the location, hotel design, staff, valet parking efficiency and onsite restaurants. Did not like no room service or cost of valet parking.
-
Friendly staff. Clean room
