Margaritaville Hotel San Diego Gaslamp Quarter

Location is super convenient to dining, bars, shops and night life. The rooftop pool is just the right size, it was never too crowded and the food/drinks were excellent. Jimmy Buffet Grill is a great on site restaurant for lunch or a late night bite. And their on site coffee shop was also a hit, the line never seemed to go down. Above all is the close proximity to Petco Park, I was in town to catch a game and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. You literally arrive to the stadium entrance within 3 minutes of leaving the hotel. Wider assortment of grab and go drinks for sale in the coffee shop/convenience area. Maybe I missed it but on my floor there was no vending machine available. And that pesky Gas Lamp/tourism fee on each check was also a bit annoying. Some locations label it a “delivery fee”, which if you have a server bringing you food and drinks really adds to the confusion.

Never again The “I will never come back to this hotel.

Location, pool , property Price

The property was in a great low location in the middle of downtown near everything and literally one block from the baseball stadium for the MLB Pedro's pull in deck bar close kinda early, which was good for low noise and very decent .

We loved our stay at Margaritaville! Came down to go to the zoo and to decompress after a terrible loss in our family. Turns out our trip coincided with the Padres post season wildcard playoffs which was so much fun! Lots of excitement and energy. Our room was beautiful and loved the decor throughout the hotel. Pool was exceptional-loved all the stairs with hand rails for easy entry and exit. Weather was perfect! Now back to the beautiful Pacific Northwest.

Great Hotel & Great location. Nothing.

Great hotel over all. Wonderful location. Walk to the Stadium and great local restaurants. The shocker for us was the $70. daily parking fee but we got over it because of the great location of the hotel. Parking attendants are a plus and get your car to you whenever you need it for a day trip.

Everything is so close to the hotel, walking distance to food places, stadium. You can hear people talking through the walls. Woke up at 6am due to people talking so loud and laughing.

The location, it was also extremely clean ! The gym had extra things normally hotels wouldn’t have which was an amazing plus

Great location, nice hotel. Negative part was . Took 2 days to get out sink working (was clogged upon arrival) also need to ask to get house keeping to our room the one day (they never did come).

This is my favorite hotel in Southern CA simply due to the kindness and courtesy of the staff. The property is beautiful, location is great! Zero negatives

Friendly staff The fee for parking, the shower floor was so dirty stained that we had to wear flip flops to take a shower.

Loved the location and the comfortable style of the property. Arrived an hour early and disappointed that although our room was available we would be charge 55$ to access the room early. Felt very opportunistic.
