I really like that people were very polite and always saying good morning or good evening! I love the environment.

Absolute favorite place to stay in gaslamp !!

Literally walking distance from Petco, shopping, dinning, harbor. Super convenient! Only minor detail was the carpet and furniture could be cleaned.

We chose this hotel as it is across the street from Petco Park to attend a ball game. Staff was exceptionally friendly, hotel & our room was clean & well maintained. We do have some frustrations: the mattress was comfortable but the pillows were awful! They seem nice and fluffy at first but then bunch up in areas while flat in others. We both had neck aches! The towels were equally bad - felt like towels at much cheaper motels. Also no towel racks in the bathroom! Only place to hang towels between use was 1 wall hook next to the shower. The biggest issue was all the wall plugs in the room were poorly sized which caused anything plugged in the outlet to fall out if touched. That could be extremely dangerous. A minor issue was the tv in our room sat lower than the top of the bed which made it difficult to use the remote from the bed. Given these issues, I would stay at the hotel again as it is close to many great restaurants and bars, along with easy access to many great areas of San Diego.

The hotel has a great location. The staff were helpful and very professional but the issue is that the rooms were quite dated. This hotel is in need of a renovation.

Great stay in downtown walking distance to everything!

At check in the front desk asked if we were there for any special occasion and when I said to celebrate my 50th birthday, she upgraded me to a beautiful suite then sent up 2 beers and a delicious piece of cheesecake. It was a fantastic stay at your hotel. Thank you for making my day special.

Great weekend stay. Rooftop bar was nice and the views were great. Location is also great and there were many people out and about in the area. Will definitely be staying at this hotel again.

Convenient location and friendly staff.

A double booking through Expedia caused me to pay for a stay at this hotel that I never went to and they refused to give me a refund

What I didn't like was the $70 per day valet parking fee! Really, the only option, unless you found your own parking garage.

Very good, clean facility. Easy access to restaurants and amenities around town.

Staff has great customer service , bad smells in elevators (cigarette,musty,fart)carpet looks dirty in the room and the halls. Good area if like places walking distance breakfast,and night life .

I fell in the shower because the later head fell off! We also had to call plumbers to fix two big issues. Not very romantic liked I wanted and we could not brush our teeth!

It was a great place for an overnight stay

1. Lost toiletry tems during our stay. Though some mile points were given, but we faced real inconvenience during our stay due to this. 2. Booked for two nights., But got an email from front desk to reconfirm our stay as the room service personnel felt that we have left the hotel. This is really inappropriate for a branded hotel like Mariott
