Omni San Diego Hotel at the Ballpark

Beautiful resort property

We ordered drinks that never arrived at the pool bar because supposedly, our server went on a break😕 Tried to nap in the pm but there was so much banging noise with housekeeping! Expected so much better experience from a Omni.

Great stay

The hotel was beautiful in a great part of town. The staff was fantastic and super helpful. The only thing that I didn’t like was the shower. The water never quite got warm and it was really hard to shut off. Perhaps it was just my room but other than that it was a great visit and I would come again.

Beautiful hotel and location. Great spot if you are headed to Petco. My main disappointment was the over stated "Bay" view suite. Omni needs to be more transparent with what is actually a Bay view if they are charging for this. On the 9th floor, our suite should have been considered a partial view at best. That being said, the rest was good.

The room was very nice & comfy. Disappointed that the windows were dirty. Ruined the view. The bellboy was very nice & helpful.

Great place for a couple weekend, we had a room with city view and sunset was stunning, a quick 7min walk can get you in to 5th ave with lot of night live.

My stay was very disappointing. The room was much smaller than expected, and the overall service did not meet the standards I would expect for this cost. I left feeling that the experience simply wasn’t worth the money. I hope the hotel improves its room assignments and customer service so future guests have a much better experience. Unfortunately, based on my stay, I would not choose to stay here again.

Loved the room, the staff were amazing, I was expressed with the service crew, very friendly and helpful. The food was great. Overall we had great time.

Very nice and accessible hotel to downtown and the bayfront. Has all the amenities you would need to have a comfortable stay. Only gripe is the room wasn’t very. I will spare you the details. We had to call the engineer because there was only hot water in the shower, no cold. It was fixed right away though. We did hear that it was fully booked and they were a little understaffed for 4th of July weekend. We would book again.

We were very excited to stay here because of the proximity to the baseball field; however, we were disappointed. The front desk was not friendly or helpful. Check in was at 4pm. Valet broke our car’s key fob and scuffed a rim. Valet wait times were excessive on game days. For the price, I would expect better customer service and a better overall experience. We will be staying at another property next time.

Love the bridge access to Petco and Gaslamp. I didn’t like the homeless screaming at the tourist or begging for money. The area needs to be cleaned up but another democratic city with trash homeless and drugs very present.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Rooms a little dusty but overall very good. Overall a good, comfortable stay. Wish they had coffee in the lobby for those times you’re waiting
