It's an absolutely lovely place that has a beautiful pool with views. It's a fun, active place during the day and at night it sparkles and is low-key. A lot of people are at dinner, so you can go to the pool and just be there with a few people. The jacuzzi is excellent, the service is nice, and it's quiet. The gym is nice and enough for what you need. One of the greatest is the walking! You can walk all over, and I walked to Two Harbors and got a good view of the city. It's just an excellent location. The staff is very kind, and when there were lines, they brought in more people. They also did some important printouts for business. I recommend the Pendry and I will be back The rooms were a little bit small, but they were beautifully appointed — beautiful wallpapers and bathroom and just lovely

    All good

The so called Amenity fee is supposed to include free coffee, but they limit it from 5 - 8 am and if it runs out before 8 am, they don't refill it. This felt like a bait and switch. Otherwise, the room was great and the pool was nice. The gym was excellent. We chose not to eat at the restaurants due to the price gauging, but found many other great places to spend our money while downtown. I wouldn't recommend this hotel because it felt like they were trying to nickel and dime the guest, who already paid a top end price to stay.

The hotel is nicely situated in the gaslamp district of San Diego, near the baseball stadium, Seaport Village, the convention center, and the Rady Shell amphitheater. It has an excellent fitness center and a pretty decent pool on the third floor. The Hotel restaurant is good for breakfast, and reasonably priced. While there are a few things I might change, overall we thought this was a very good hotel and a great choice for San Diego.

We had a great stay at Pendry

Average experience not a 5 star. Amenities were Average. Gym treadmills didn't all work. Shower pressure was very low. Staff seemed uptight for no reason. Invoicing mistakes. Can hear noises from outside, not very luxurious

The Pendry is a beautiful property in an excellent location. The rooms are well appointed, the atmosphere is upscale, and our first stay three years ago on our wedding night was exceptional. That experience is what made us so excited to return and celebrate another special occasion. Unfortunately, this visit was nothing like our first. For over a month before our stay, we tried to reserve a cabana, but our messages to the pool manager were read and never answered. Once we arrived, we asked if someone could help us set up a couple of pool chairs and were told there were no clean white towels, so we were handed a stack of towels to do it ourselves. The pool manager later said he would check on our request and “be right back,” but never returned. We eventually had to find him ourselves, only to be told, “Hold on, I’m busy.” We ultimately rented a cabana, but it was underwhelming. The furniture was extremely uncomfortable, the food didn’t reflect the premium prices, coffee wasn’t available at the pool, and we were told eggs weren’t available to add to avocado toast despite an egg sandwich being on the menu. None of these issues alone would have ruined our stay. What stood out was that every interaction felt like “no.” There was no effort to accommodate, offer alternatives, or deliver the level of hospitality we experienced during our first visit. Three years ago, Pendry represented luxury boutique hospitality at its best. This visit felt like a completely different

We loved this hotel and the location in the heart of the Gaslamp District. Walkable to great restaurants, bars, and the water. Only minutes to the zoo and Coronado. Would absolutely stay again.
