Hard Rock Hotel San Diego

Super close to the airport, the Disney Cruise terminal, and the baseball stadium! The staff was so supportive with our kids, and the children especially enjoyed playing on the grass field right next to the pool. A stress free, perfect stay for our family trip!

I came in late and they upgraded me to a suite at no charge!

Great location and excellent customer service. Warning about the king-bed suite: The open-space floorplan means there is ZERO bathroom privacy. The toilet area is only partially enclosed with a frosted door that doesn't fully reach the ceiling or floor, so whoever you're staying with can hear EVERYTHING going on when you're on the toilet. For a suite that's supposed to have "adult"/sexy vibes, the toilet alone is a buzzkill, unless your partner and you are extremely comfortable with each other. You've been warned.

Great place to stay!

The only area that could have used a little more attention was the room cleanliness, as some areas could have been dusted more thoroughly. Aside from that, we really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the hospitality and special touches that helped make our anniversary memorable.

Everything was wonderful.

Staff was nice. There were a couple spots in the room that were a little dusty. We didn't have any hot water for the first 3 days mainly luke warm for morning showers. My wife and I were there from Sept 19th to the 25th for a large Convention. It was nice that the Hotel does have a nice location with easy access to transportation. Main complaint was the beds has a gap about 4 inches off the floor that is hard to see and judge when we got there. Not even 5 minutes after getting into the room I got my foot caught in that gap and fell face first into the carpet, bloodying my nose and injuring my back and right hip. I was informed by the head concierge that the Hotel is being remodeled and the gap is not going to be there in the new design of the rooms. They did offer to upgrade our room which we declined and they did send up some treats for us and got a complimentary breakfast. The Hotel also has these small single use shampoo and body wash was bottles in the shower that I thought was a little unhandy. Other places we had stayed have hade large bottles attached in the shower that were much nicer to use. The room was comfortable and the beds also were comfortable. It would have been nice if there was a couple USB ports for cell phone charging along with the 120 volt plug ins between the beds at the back of the nightstand.

Staff service was slower than expected and their team committed the #1 Faux Paus in customer service- prioritized a phone customer over the person/s standing in front of them. The Float bartender and service was excellent.

The room was smaller than expected. A lot of the cabinets were broken didn’t close properly. Rooms need definitely

The bathroom smelled like raw sewage when you flush the toilet or run the faucet.

If you are looking for a pool environment, maybe try another hotel? Not much lounging furniture

Bed was comfortable. Right next to petco park Couldn’t watch the padres game from my room tv.

That is near by everything walking distance and very beautiful suites you guys have.

Neither TV’s worked in the room- called the desk. 1st time they said the entire hotel was experiencing an outage. 2nd time we called- they said they were very busy, would need to come the next day. They did not.
