The room was nice. The pool was to crowded.

The hotel has a great atmosphere, and the staff were generally friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, especially for exploring downtown San Diego. It is convenient for restaurants, nightlife, and the main attractions. Overall, the room and common areas were clean and well maintained. Unfortunately, there were several issues that made our stay disappointing. The shower had a serious water leak. Although maintenance came twice to repair it, the problem was never resolved, and the bathroom was flooded with water every time we took a shower. Since there were three of us sharing the room, we had to put towels on the floor to absorb the water after every shower, which was very inconvenient. The hairdryer was also very old and stopped working after we used it. The hotel eventually replaced it, but this was another inconvenience during our stay. We stayed in a studio suite advertised as being 37 square meters, but the room did not feel anywhere near that size. Considering the price we paid for our stay from August 21 to August 25, the overall experience did not live up to the expectations or the value we were expecting. The room size and the unresolved maintenance issues made the price feel unjustified.

Upon check in, which my company paid through Hotel Engine, I had to pay the $150 for the incidentals, which is not a problem but, incidentals are paid through Hotel Engine on my company account and it was not honored by Hard Rock.  This could have been an issue had another employee not been able to pay for incidentals.  I wasn't the only one from my company staying there.   While the room was nice it wasn't what I booked or was expecting. I booked a Studio 1 King Bed With Patio and didn't get it.  Hard Rock just didn't meet my expectations especially for it being my first time there.   The next time I stay in San Diego whether for personal business or work related.  I will t

The hotel is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. I love that you had the key card to go to your room by using the elevator so not just anyone can just be walking around the hotel. I felt very safe. There were security all around and the hotel was just amazing. Anything I can say that I did not like about the hotel is that I could not stay long enough

Great location, decent price, clean room. Friendly and helpful staff. Lots to do around the hotel and really convenient for a baseball game and trolley access. Would recommend. Only drawback was they had a big pool party on Saturday afternoon that took up the whole pool area. But they let everyone know in advance so not a huge deal.

Location was great and the room was clean and modern, very happy with that. The pool was not accessible during our stay due to it being booked out for an event which was frustrating.
