Loved the room, the service, the pool everything Nothing

The front staff was welcoming and friendly. They made great restaurant recommendations too! The hotel was very clean and the beds were really comfortable. I would highly recommend staying at The Hard Rock in San Diego.

We had a suite which was clean and neat. Issues were promptly repaired. The room had a strange configuration with frosted glass doors for the shower and toilet areas that could be seen from sitting area...thus lacking privacy. We had one drink at the bar but did not otherwise eat or drink at the hotel. Convenient to Gaslamp restaurants and activities.

Great experience!

The location is great and is walking distance to downtown and Petco Park. Staff were friendly and attentive. Only downside was that our AC was not strong enough for our liking so the room was warm. It took a while for it to cool down and only really cooled down at night. Our shower was leaking onto the bathroom floor too, so we had to put towels down. Also wish they had a fridge for us to put our own beverages in (they have a fully stocked fridge but with drinks already in to purchase) and a microwave.

Las habitaciones son X son como cualquier hotel austero, nada extraordinario y la regadera fatal no tiene puerta y toda el agua se sale. El servicio a cuarto, es cargado y no es entregado y a tu salida sigues recibiendo cargos a pesar que ya fue entregado un balance. Pésima opción para San Diego, busca otra alternativa no es nada recomendable.

The price of the rooms were nice. We really enjoyed the location of the hotel to parking, bars, restaurants and running paths. It was close to the MTS which came in handy. An added plus was the Lobby bar! Great staff great drinks! it was a nice place to relax while waiting for others to finish getting ready. Very close (walk able) to Petco park if you are there for a concert or a game! I front desk informed us our room on the 3rd floor could be loud due to the pool party from 1pm to 6pm on Saturday, but we didn't hear a thing. The rooms were very quiet! I wish there would have been more mirrors not just in the bathroom. It made getting ready a bit of a juggle act on who can shower and who can get there hair/make up done. One of our rooms did have a counter mirror and one of our rooms didn't so it may just depend with room you have.

Dinner was delicious. Cons: no kettle, valet parking $70/day, very limited room service options, no common amenities: dental kit/ cotton swabs/pads.

My room was spectacular and spacious.

The staff was so nice but there is no clear number to call for things, I had to go down to the front desk to ask for blankets and utensils. The keycard reader for my room kept falling off?? The pool is so tiny and my room didn’t even have a microwave. For as expensive as it is I did expect more. The property was clean & comfortable but at the end of the day very average, far too overpriced.

Tub was broken when we arrived wouldn't drain. Half the lights didnt work. None of the phones worked to dial to them. Didnt inform us at check in we needed a ticket to go swimming.

Really nice place to stay, I would stay there again if I have the opportunity

The staff was excellent In helping out with a couple of snafus that weren’t their fault. I loved my room and the location. I will definitely book here again.
