Very well located. However, the air conditioning unit vibrated quite a bit and was very noisy. The beds could also use an upgrade, as they were extremely soft and not very comfortable.

I also texted the hotel before arriving about parking and never got a response. Maybe I missed it in the description but there is no parking on site. You have to walk a couple blocks to a public parking structure. Valet is a joke, $70. I will say that valet staff was very helpful and the bar staff as well.

Location was great and price was good, but pool was small and a little gross looking, conditioner was completely empty before our first shower, fitted sheet didn’t actually fit so had to remake the bed multiple times a night, and first full day there, even though we were gone from 830 am-230 pm and removed do not disturb sign, no one came to clean, so I had to track someone down just to get more coffee and the conditioner. Just not great stay but ok. Oh and a lot of homeless sleeping/camped out right outside all doors.

Beautiful property right next to everything, walked over for a ball game, ate at a lot of great restaurants. Only complaint is the downtown parking fee $70 a night and since I got there early they charged me half rate so another $120 in parking on top of the rate of the room, :/

Beautiful property in a location that can’t be beat! The room was more than comfortable for a solo staycation. A 2 minute walk to Gaslamp Gate at Petco Park and about the same for the trolley stop. Would certainly stay here again and recommend to any travelers to San Diego.

Great location . Clean property . Didn’t get to use the restaurant as there are loads of options to eat nearby . Pool was under repair so not available. Valet parking very expensive 75/night . Also overcharged. Approx 350 dollars over what Expedia quoted . This was charged at the hotel for “ fees” which are actually hidden fees not clearly stated by Expedia . So beware if on a thight budget

This hotel was in a convenient spot, literally walking distance to the gas lamp quarter lot of eateries. The restaurant at the hotel is actually really good. Feeling safe with the security that was on the property. Everybody super sweet definitely will come back.

All in all an excellent stay and we will definitely be back. Side note…we are doing a split stay in CA and have moved over to the Del….the service overall at the Gaslamp was as good if not better than the Del.

Bad: Check-in was delayed about an hour. Would stay again

The property overall was very good. We've stayed her in the past few years. The hotel has done renevations that are lovely. the rooms are spacious and modern. The lobby and outside terrace were clean, comfortable, and cozy for lounging and gatherings. However, the pool was closed to guest during a summer stay (bewildered) and was not revealed upon booking or checking in for the hotel stay. So to our amazement after preparing to sit poolside for a few hours to find out the pool was closed due to prepping for the following week convention event. How convient to have your current guest walk two blocks to use the pool. Such an inconvience. Needless to say there was no pool use during our stay. Hilton and Expedia should be up front with these make or brake a booking or stay information.

The property entrance and lobby were well maintained and the staff was courteous and professional. I would have given five stars, but my room had a sink that required maintenance and the bed required new sheets. The staff was prompt with resolving these issues, but it did reduce the level of praise for a visit that would have been graded as outstanding. The saving grace was the wonderful staff and employees at this wonderful establishment.
