Excellent location, clean, no frills room. AC was noisy but worked. Bring ear plugs.

The light shining into the room was awful. I had read another review about the extremely bright light and I can confirm that it's terrible. The "curtain" on the window may as well be tissue paper because it doesn’t do anything. I barely slept and wished I had brought my eye pillow. The location is good for easy access to coffee shops, restaurants, and Shelter Island or just a walk along the harbor.

The room was alright, comfortable bed, nice TV and lights but the overall property looks very old. Good water pressure, the AC goes from 0 to 100, bit difficult to have stable temperature. Ok if you are staying only for one night and have no trouble sleeping. Kind regards,

I needed to stay in the Point Loma area overnight and was able to book this lovely hotel. Not meant as a negative, but don't let the entrance put you off. It's right on the corner and right off the street. However, once you're checked in and in the elevator, you're transported to a very well kept courtyard style hotel area and on to your room. The room looked like it had been recently renovated and they did a marvelous job. It really is very nice and had what I needed for my overnight stay. I would like to have had a nicer refrigerator but the one there was sufficient. Oh, and a hair dryer...need an available hair dryer. Anyhow, the bed was so comfy and provided a great night's sleep. The bathroom was beautiful and the makeup type mirror ideal. Parking is meant for small cars. I was lucky enough to find a spot on the street where I could see my vehicle from my room. If I ever find myself in Point Loma again, I will book there if available.

Great Location for going to concerts at Humphries. About a 1/2 mile walk.

The location of this hotel was very convenient. The rooms are renovated which was nice, but the bathroom we had did have an odor. It wasn’t terrible, but it just smelled wet. I’d recommend to bring your own body wash, shampoo/conditioner. There was no hair blow dryer which was inconvenient. The bed was comfortable and the manager is helpful. The parking is VERY tight and it was a little stressful having to worry about if we’d have a place to park when we got back. The office upon checking in is not renovated, but I think they are working on it. Overall it worked for what we needed.

Rooms are new and clean as a whistle. Guy at the desk is very hard to understand, but kind.

The room was clean but very bare bones. There is not even a closet, nor is there a hair blower in the bathroom. There was barely any toilet paper, The bed was pretty comfortable though. The lobby is very small and run down. Just spend the extra $25 and get the hampton inn by the airport.

Clean room with minimal amenities. No coffee maker, no microwave, no new towels on 2nd day. Bed was relatively comfortable, but only 3 pillows for 2 people.

i loved that they had smart tvs and we could watch movies we actually wanted to see not just channel surf through cable. also everything felt well kept and clean my socks stayed clean while i walked the floor!!

It appears this location is being converted to a basic boutique hotel…basic is the key word here. While the bed was very comfortable and the showerhead had amazing water pressure, other amenities were lacking. There were no extra towels available and no washcloths at all, so makeup-wearers will need to bring their own wipes. There was only 1 roll of TP. The tub was slippery and no drain cover - mgmt will be sorry when their drains clog from long hair. No hooks on the back of the door or towel racks for hanging toiletry bags. The digital lighted mirror and bathroom vanity were trendy but lacked counter space. A container with hand soap and lotion were taking up what little space was available. No hair dryer in the drawer. No closet or luggage racks, but there was a hanging rack for clothing with only 3 hangers. Bath towels were thin and small; one bore a Best Western emblem. Despite the lack of amenities, we would stay here again since this hotel is spotlesssly clean, has decent parking and located right in the heart of Point Loma. Easy walking to pubs, coffee, and cafes and a short drive from the Cabrillo. By adding basic comforts for travelers and a few upgrades, I think they’ll be on their way to having a budget boutique hotel.

The refrigerator was not working and he had to change it out. The blinds are too thin so the room is lit up all night. The staff was nice. Room was clean, but no wash cloths provided.

Unexpected 2 overnights needed...and this place fit the location and price. It ended up being a restful 2 nights and I felt safe.

What was advertised was inaccurate. There needs to be improvement on cleanliness.
