LYFE INN & SUITES by AGA - San Diego Airport/Point Loma

No panic needed though, they graciously allowed me to check in early. It was such a kind gesture, and it literally saved my headspace for this trip! The property is beautiful, everything was super clean - all the way from the parking garage to the bathroom. I work in the yachting industry so I notice everything, and there was nothing less than perfect. The location couldn't be any better either, grocery store, coffee shops, sushi, etc.. It was all within walking distance! I loved the local vibe of it all, instead of the tourist feel in other parts of SD. Here is my thank you note I left when I checked out: "I want to thank you AGAIN for such a great stay! You saved my trip by allowing me to check in so early, I made my meeting with plenty of time and it mattered. You guys are great with a beautiful Inn. See you again soon!" I highly recommend Lyfe Inn, what a gem.

Walls are thin. Property pictures don't look anything like the real thing except the outdoor sitting area. Lobby area is old and tiny. Surprised by the room. It was clean and worked for what we needed. Was an easy walk to dinner.

The lobby had a strong smell of curry, It took at least 15minutes to check in. I was waiting at the front desk, and they kept coming in and out of doors and told me to take seat.

I would definitely stay again but like the other reviews said…it was definitely a smell. I think whomever stayed in the room prior left food and it wasn’t taken out until it was spoiled. It is a bit noisy because you’re right by the street and you can hear the person above you walking but it was exactly like the pictures. Room was clean, bed was comfy and there was parking. Definitely booking again when I head back to California.

Room was generally fine, but the window, AC, and sheets were big issues. The lights off the main floor area were very bright and the window shade did not block it at all. The AC sounded like a plane taking off. The sheets were sand paper-ish. So the room looked fine, but was a terrible place to sleep.

I would recommend you bring a blanket to cover the window because the blinds are white and all the lights are on outside and it is so bright in the room all night we could barely sleep. The bed was very comfortable and clean as was the room. The shower was also a little scary as it was very slippery but it was also very clean. The air conditioning was a little on the louder side for me but I am a light sleeper. Great area parking was a little tight so I recommend bringing a little smaller car.

I have stayed here multiple times and the room is always VERY clean. Beds are comfy. My favorite part is the large TVs. Don’t expect 24/7 concierge at your service. If you need a nice clean space to stay with no hassle parking + walkable eats this place is for you!

This is a clean property that is well located with a very affordable price. The property is in good condition has some parking off the street which is rare in San Diego that is included in the price. Has a great Pub across the street with good food and reasonably priced drinks especially during happy hour. It is family owned so they are highly motivated to make your experience a pleasant one.

If you’re looking for a clean place to sleep with new renovations, this is the place. Parking is a bit tight but overall the room itself is cozy and has what you need. Clean linens and nice beds.

It was a nice affordable hotel,All the rooms were redone I personally do not like firm beds. So that would be my only dislike other then that it was nice
