Great stay close to the beach will be back again

Our stay was just okay. The location is great but we had some troubles with our room. We weren’t told that we needed to specifically request maid service upon check in - on our first day we put the “maid service requested” sign on our door and when we returned at the end of the day, our bed was not made. I went to the front desk and they told me that sign doesn’t work and we needed to specifically put a request in. At that time, I put the request in for the following day and when we returned after another long day, our room again was not cleaned. The dead bolt on the door was loose (someone could definitely push through the door if it wasn’t locked) and the lock on the bathroom window was also loose and did not have a screen, which was concerning as we were on street level. We wouldn’t stay here again on our next trip to San Diego.

Parking was included and the staff was accommodating.

Rooms are pretty standard. Was fine for what we needed and close to the beach and dining options/coffee. There was a janky looking cart outside of our room for wet towels and laundry (not appealing to have that be the first thing you see when you walk outside your room). Maybe they can move it to a different location rather than outside some of the rooms. It is a cheaper option hotel so it’s not shocking it’s not top-tier. If you’re fine with no-frills hotel and easy beach access, this is a good option but if you’re looking for a more luxurious stay, this isn’t it.

And it was smelling really bad as well.

Not the newest facility, but remodeled and very clean. Zero smell in the room. We enjoyed our stay. Very close to the water and great restaurants. We would come back!!

Nice place for a quick stay. Walkable to Beach and restaurants. Only complaint was never having enough towels or wash cloths especially when staying with teenage girls.

Great little beach motel, just steps from the sand. Our room was clean, the two queen beds were very comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Their rates are very reasonable (we paid about $300/night in season mid-June mid-week). The complex was quiet at night, and parking on-site was easy. Good bars and restaurants a five minute walk away. We'd stay here again, no question!

The amenities were great. Staff was very friendly. Nice and close to the walking path, beach and restaurants/coffee shops. Lobby had brewed coffee and teabags to make tea. We enjoyed sitting on the patio throughout our visit, which was swept regularly. Parking on site was very convenient. We will stay here again.

The staff was friendly. The cleaning crew kept our patio furniture clean by wiping it daily. Would stay here again.

We loved it here. Not super fancy but steps to the beach and boardwalk. Good area. Felt safe. Close to bars and restaurants. We’ll stay again if we’re in PB.

Beach within a short block away. Restaurants and grocery store within walking distance. Staff was very friendly and helpful. A/C was difficult to control.

I don’t love it but I’m sure we will stay again so we can be close to the beach.

Close to the beach and proximity. The only thing was that our room was just cleaned the there was a wierd smell on bathroom. I was offered a room change yet the smell came from chemicals they used to clean and was gone in a couple hours .

LOVED our stay here! We will definitely be coming back!
