Residence Inn San Diego Del Mar

Clean room. Breakfast was delicious and everything was so comfortable!!

The rooms are small. The sofa bed is so incredibly old and uncomfortable to sit on and the mattress is an old worn out spring filled 4” item that should be at a landfill. All of the furniture is worn out. Like what you would see with a “Free” sign in the street in front of someone’s house. There is an inordinate amount of noises around the property all night. Trucks, boilers (fans?), landscape equipment at 7:00am, etc. I counted on having two beds and ended up having to share the normal bed with my brother for one night. Parking is $30/night!!! Unreal. It’s not even in a desirable location other than being in Del Mar proper. For the price, it was in poor shape.~$250 The only saving grace is the front desk let us check out after the first of our 4 night stay without a penalty.

Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing. The $30 a night parking charge was a frustration and surprise though. Didn't notice that anywhere on the location description or reservation. Oh well...

Other than wishing breakfast went until 10 and smoking area being designated to the pet area this hotel wonderful.

Paying $30/day for parking is crazy behavior, but otherwise it was great.

So place is great location staff is amazing overall stay was great but I had a couple of issue since checking in but hey we're resolved and taken care of quickly staff very attentive to make it right.

This property is far superior to most Residence Inn sites. It looks like it was previously a mid to high end property. I think it may even be better than it's sister property, Marriott, across the street; it also has better amenities, like free breakfast and cheaper parking fees.

Wonderful staff

When I went to check-in, my pool view room wasn’t and sled to come back after 4pm. I came back and my room was changed to a much noisier room by the highway.
