Hilton Garden Inn San Diego Del Mar

I had a great stay, the place is nice and has everything you need. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast was great. It runs out near 10am on weekends so get there early. Lots of parking for $15/night. Workout room, pool and jacuzzi was small. I stayed for four days and my room didn’t get cleaned for 3 days.

Clean room, nice breakfast included.

They share staff and services with the Homewood Suites next door. So good luck if you get your room cleaned before 5pm. I could go on and on…this is a value site and should be priced lower.

The breakfast situation was unclear and service was very poor today (much better yesterday).

This hotel worked out great for us. We stayed for almost a week for my son's soccer tournament. I loved the Robot room service -- that made a significant impact on our happiness. The hotel lobby, halls and elevator were like a sauna during the day. That wasn't great, but our room was climate controlled nicely. Parking was sometimes difficult to find and we weren't expecting to have to pay $15 a day for parking. Floors were very dirty. I only noticed because I used a towel to wipe up some water and then the towel was black. I imagine this is a challenge with all the sand that is likely drug in from the beaches. Oh, and the location was perfect. We got to surf La Jolla with ease and checkout lots of San Diego, including UCSD and the nearby vistas. Overall, a wonderful trip. One other suggestion, keep the pool open 24/7!

Everything was very nice and a great place to stay.

The hotel in general feels old and perpetually dirty. Had to move rooms twice. Once because the first room wasn’t clean and second because the hot water wasn’t working.

Place was great. Would stay there again.

Excellent staff, great food, very big and comfortable bed. Highly recommended!

The parking is not free you have to pay 15 dllsbper day

We didn’t like theatre we needed to ask to have the room cleaned every day.

The hotel was good itself presentation wise, however staff was rude. Whenever we would ask simple questions regarding our stay.

For two days the tv was not working all channels said off air but issue was not resolved

I goofed and checked in a day after my booked day. I entered the wrong check in date when I was building my booking. I get there and the front desk made it feel like it wasn't a problem, and had my room still ready and just moved my check in-check out date. They made me feel like I was a 10 year guest and not just passing through. I'm staying there again when I'm in the Del Mar area.
