Also, when trying to get breakfast in the morning, there were two completely incapable staff members at the front desk. A line was forming, and people eventually just left without even attempting to eat at the restaurant because the hostesses were not able to seat people at the appropriate tables. Terrible training. The food served in their high-end breakfast restaurant was so boring and sad that it felt more like an insult than an enjoyment. The coffee was watery. Whoever is running this restaurant needs to improve this greatly. The one thing I have to say was very good was the service and experience in the bar area. Excellent drinks and excellent fish appetizers. Overall, I would never come back.

Wouldn’t let me check in early. I ended up being in the hospital.

Everything was just about perfect. Excellent staff, beautiful location. It was clean and nice. Clear sense of quality in everything. The restaurants and bars were also nice. We did not use the golf course, gym or similar, but I have not doubt they are great as well. Pretty much nothing. We only stayed for one night, so we didn't do anything off the property, but I don't think there is a whole lot to do in the immediate area if you are staying for a longer period - unless you like golfing.

The best hotel experience I have ever had. Every staff member was helpful and professional. Steve at the front desk was amazing through check in and continued to be helpful throughout our stay. The property is gorgeous and quiet. The outdoor pool is heated year round. The restaurant was great. This hotel has spoiled me for all others. It’s the only place I want to stay

This is one of those hotels that survives on its now long lost reputation for quality. There is no management to speak of, so the staff avoid work and chat amongst themselves, and everything is in need of a good clean. It’s dated and the golf bros make it unbearable. Go somewhere else. This one is sad , expensive, and ultimately a disappointment.

Enjoyed the onsite amenities. Loved strolling the gardens, the pool, spa and golf course. The on site and off site restaurants were.great. Car service came in handy. Our driver Roger was fantastic! Very helpful with restaurant recommendations and offered great insight on things to see and do in the area. Looking forward to coming back in October. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

We had dinner at A.R. Valentien, where our waiter, Ryan, and the entire staff were attentive, welcoming, and provided outstanding service. The food was absolutely delicious, light, fresh, and beautifully prepared. We also enjoyed breakfast at The Grill. My 9-year-old son absolutely loved the pancakes, while my husband and I both ordered omelets that were incredibly flavorful and perfectly cooked. Every meal we had was excellent. One of our favorite parts of the stay was relaxing by the pool and enjoying the gorgeous views. The hotel also made the Fourth of July extra special for families by hosting a fun celebration with crafts, cookies and lemonade, cookie decorating, and kites for the kids to fly. Our son had the best time, and we loved the warm, family friendly atmosphere. The valet staff were also wonderful, friendly, helpful, and always greeted us with a smile. This was truly a memorable stay, and we can’t wait to return next year. If you’re looking for a beautiful hotel with exceptional service, delicious dining, and a welcoming family atmosphere, we highly recommend staying here!
