Homewood Suites by Hilton San Diego-Del Mar

Clean room, nice staff but it is located in residential area and is about 20 minutes away from downtown.

The room was in terrible condition, dirty with trash from the last person who stayed there. The bathroom looked run down and moldy, tile lifting. Broken closet door and stains on the walls and carpet, dirty blanket in the bed. Horrible over all. The staff was nice and helpful, breakfast was as expected and the pool was nice.

The best breakfast I’ve ever had in any hotel ever!! Loved the daily breakfast burrito options. The employees are very kind and helpful also. Having two bathrooms en suite for our family of six was fabulous. I loved having our own kitchen to prepare a few things for our crew but the utensils and things are extremely limited. Overall, if I’m ever in the area again, I’d happily stay here!

The location is convenient. The property public space and amenities were clean and fairly modern. Guest rooms are begging for a renovation; it’s surprising that Hilton has not forced a brand update. My guest room entry door locked but was warped to the point that passers by could into the room thorough a see 1/2” gap. The owner needs to put some money into this property.

The linen was so clean which is always so important to my family and we had ample space to comfortably accommodate everyone. We will definitely stay again.

Breakfast is good. Room is clean just concerned about the shower room floor it feels its going to give in. Staffs are great and helpful.

Clean room, staff were great, but the rooms are really crying for updates. Especially the stove so old and outdated, dishes, silverware so old and nothing matches

The room and the hotel are clean. The bathroom countertop is too short for an adult. When I checked out, a lady in the front desk refused to give me a paper receipt.

The pool was small, but it was clean. Then lobby was very warm I don’t know if the ac was off or something. The room was clean outdated and the restroom door was kinda weird if someone was outside the door brushing their teeth you’ll be hit by the door. The sink was out side the door. The staff was very kind. The location of the hotel was nice but the room was a bit outdated.

Clean hotel .. friendly staff .. everything needs upgrading in rooms was shower old , rusted , water stayed at bottom because bottom sunk in .. water in sink didn’t drain fast .. it was good just need to invest money in upgrades

Great location and room size.

The beds were uncomfortable, broken handles on the door and outdated for furniture and appliances. We always look for a Homewood, but this location is not a good value.

Absolutely loved our stay! Breakfast was perfect, coffee was strong, staff was attentive...no complaints at all.

Good location for the event we were attending. Everything was clean but some maintenance was needed Room had portable a/c, no heater, the shower floor moved as you took a shower, the burners were sitting on top of stove not connected, the breakfast was disappointing, the toilet didn’t flush completely. The staff was helpful resolving some issues.
