Homewood Suites by Hilton San Diego-Del Mar

Two bedroom units perfect for families

Great！

Loved our stay! Easy access to the freeway and close to all the cities we visited e.g. La Jolla, Del Mar, and San Diego. Loved our suite and access to the pool. We intend to stay again...

The location was quiet and peaceful. High way was nearby so easy to get to the city or beach.

Temp stayed in the high 80s no matter how many times we adjusted the temperature. My husband and my kids were hot and uncomfortable The room was hot when we arrive And no one did anything to help and all the rooms were taken so I couldn’t switch to another room I give my stay a 2 star because we had to sleep in this hot air. not happy about it at all we spend a lot of money at this hotel and we couldn’t even have a room with working ac. Room 212 is not a good room. I highly suggest you guys fixed that ac so the next guest can have a better experience because mines was horrible

Was perfect for our needs

Not a quiet room.

This hotel is old and outdated, air condition is a portable unit inside the bedroom, so it's quite hot in the living room, the bathroom is really outdated and has a strange smell. It’s a shame to be listed as a Hilton group hotels which offer no benefit to Hilton Honor members. And it’s over $200 per night, definitely not worth it, very disappointing.

This property is well maintained and very handy for visiting my daughter at UCSD.

Breakfast was mostly a miss with the crowd and empty dishes.

Very disappointed!

Amazing stay. Everything i want in a room

Not enough utensils for cooking

The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the breakfast was good. Unfortunately, the air conditioning took a long time to cool the room and never reached the temperature we set, even by the day we checked out. We contacted the engineer, but the issue was not resolved.

I loved the place. Clean, great breakfast, great staff. One reason why i gave it 4 stars was because the darn air conditioner outside my room was broken and woke me up in the middle of the night. It was so loud. It woke up my friend in the next room. Just seemed to be a small but important thing to get fixed.

Was quiet at night though.

Breakfast needs some work

The kids found a spoon in the bedroom. I would not give it 5 star, maybe an oversight of the cleaner. The BK was good, many different choices for the kid to pick. Hotel is ok, the room we stayed I could hear noise of the what seem to be the AC unit all night long.

Great price, room was spacious, there was breakfast, and staff was helpful.
