Staff was very helpful & professional. Room was clean. Hotel needs upgrading.

I must say that the hotel appears to be older. I was very concerned about the bathroom that showed a lots of what appeared to be black mold in many places. Also most of the containers that held the lotion, body wash, shampoo, conditioner and tissues were empty. I made numerous requests from the front desk staff to have them refilled. Each time the staff said that someone would take care of it, but it was never taken care of. For many years I have stayed in Marriott properties and other hotels and by far this was my worst experience.

Our room wasn't ready by 4 pm check in time. We were able to check in at 7 pm only. Room was OK but missing basic items( hand soaps, some bedding, kitchenware was only for 3 people not 5 as we booked). Shortly we learned that kitchen sink has stoppage and requires maintenance personal to fix it. No need to say that our evening plans that day were completely ruined. The staff was working hard to fix it all, and short staffing is a real issue. Room service is only upon request. Well, I requested it one day in advance, and no room service was provided. We ended up just having new towels delivered by a robot and noone to take wet towels and trash away. Running AC smells like mold so we had to have it off the entire time and windows open just a little bit, so it wasn't enough for air exchange. Laundry facility is very dirty. The washers have mold and dirt inside. Despite of me cleaning them with sanitizing wipes, all my washed clothes smell like mold anyway. Because of the delay in check in and all the inconvenience, we were offered our parking charges to be waived, which is 15$/ day. Upon checking out we were still charged 1 day parking despite of initial promise. And conveniently no manager at the facility to be found to resolves that.

Was a lovely place to spend a week. Super friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful breakfast service. Clean rooms. Highly recommend.

It was an okay hotel. We felt safe. People above us were pounding at night waking us up a few times. The hallways and the breakfast area were extremely warm and humid. It was uncomfortable eating breakfast in a hot room. There are no stores nearby so make sure you have you need before heading here. It was easy to get to the La Jolla beaches without having to pay the high prices of the La Jolla hotels.

Great place but staff seems unable to manage evening arrivals. We waited an hour for our room to be ready. The staff got the job done but it took forever.

Awesome staff!

Room was spacious and had a kitchen which was nice. However, we had to ask for blankets for the sofa bed as it only came with sheets. A/C was very cold despite being set at 76 degrees. We were not aware that we had to request housekeeping service as our room was cleaned after the first night, but they never came back. Breakfast was hot and better than continental but otherwise meh. Overall, we paid a very overpriced rate for an okay experience.

There was no a/c in the bedroom. I asked front desk and wasn’t able to give me an explanation and said would ask if there was a portable since there was no available rooms. Followed up and night staff weren’t aware was waiting on a portable a/c and engineers had gone home so wasn’t given anything and followed up in morning and no resolution was given. Housekeeping didn’t come, no new towels provided. Suites are old. Lobby was extremely hot….overall not worth the price

The doors to the hotel were not working so anyone could walk in at night through the back door by the pool. Check in was a long line with only one person. When we check3d in there were ants on the counter the whole time and crumbs were on floor of kitchen. The bathroom shower where you have the soap was dirty.

The hotel is located in a good place and we were surprised by the ease which traffic flowed and the closeness of everything we liked to do. The breakfast at the hotel was great and complementary which was another surprise and a good way to start the day. Tee rooms were clean, the staff was kind and the housekeepers were helpful. We would stay again.

The breakfast was great, but the hotel could use an upgrade. Also I had an issue with a strong urine smell and no one ever resolved it. No call or anything. The bedding was thick enough. They placed a thin blanket on the bed. A little thicker than a sheet. However the mattress was comfortable. Overall not too bad.

I received a text message telling me that if I need anything just text. So I needed something and I text and I waited and waited and eventually I had to go to the store and buy what I needed. I texted that I needed my body wash replenish because it was empty. It wasn’t until the next day that somebody returned my text and by then I had already went to the store and bought somebody wash.

Room was very quiet. Staff were helpful and polite.

Maid service is only upon request. And it costs fifteen dollars a night to park your car, which we weren't told.

Check in was quick and efficient. The suite design was perfect for our family of 6, with ample space for everyone. The burners/stove top looked dated although the kitchen was well stocked with the essentials if you wanted to cook a simple meal. The beds were comfortable and the daily breakfast had good options, somethingfor everyone! . I would absolutely stay again and would recommend to others

Hotel was very clean, has great amenities. Rooms were clean and beds were very comfortable. Staff is helpful and very polite. This is our third time staying at this hotel. Definitely plan on coming back.
