I love it there rooms beds are amazing. Short walk to stadium.

Everything about the stay was great. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating and even went the extra mile to remember our plans throughout the week and asked us about them. The room had a washer and a steamer along with bicycle rentals included with the stay. The location was right downtown near the ballpark so it was very easy to get anywhere. They included $10 food vouchers per day and two free waters everyday which was super nice to have since we were walking all around town. Overall a very great place to stay and I would definitely come here again!

Black mold In the room awful

Excellent stay! Very close to Petco Park.

Downtown area is dirty and noisy. Valet parking onsite is 70$ a night. Finding parking is difficult as it’s close to the stadium.
-
Clean, functional, helpful staff and central to everything we needed. Couldn't ask for more!

A special thank you to Paul for his exceptional service and kindness throughout our visit. He went above and beyond to help us obtain a Dominican Republic flag so we could proudly take it to the San Diego Padres game. As visitors from the Dominican Republic, that gesture meant a lot to us and made our experience even more memorable. The combination of a great location, comfortable accommodations, and outstanding hospitality made this a wonderful stay. We would gladly return and highly recommend The Margot to anyone visiting San Diego. ⭐

I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel, the room was basically a Jr. 1 bedroom apt with a Kitchen and living room (i did not expect that). It was very clean and tasteful and in a great neighborhood easy to walk to multiple things. The staff was also very helpful with food suggestions etc. Its a 5-10 minute to the heart of the Gaslamp as well as maybe a 10 minute walk to where the Padres play (and the waterfront). Also bonus for the $10 voucher to the cafe across the street. Would stay here again.

Was a very nice place clean bed was comfortable no problems

The valet service was easy and friendly, and checking in was straightforward. The receptionists were neutral, which was a bit disappointing since I was expecting a warmer welcome. The room itself was in great condition and very clean. It was one of the best hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed in. The studio had a mini kitchen with a washer and dryer, which was a nice bonus. The bed was luxurious and cozy, which was especially helpful for me since I have a sensitive and achy back. I woke up without any back pain or aches. However, sleeping past 7 am was difficult due to the street noise. My girlfriend and I aren’t picky sleepers, but the sirens, truck noise, and constant honking were not pleasant. It made it hard to get a good night’s sleep in the morning. Overall, we had an enjoyable stay and will definitely be coming back.

I loved the room as soon as I saw it, the balcony views at night were so beautiful. Only a five block walk and you’re literally in the gaslamp district. The restaurant across the street is delicious get the breakfast sandwich or wrap! My only complaint was the valet is $70. Also I paid my entire room off through a third-party and was still charged destination fees which was later refunded after I had to call about it, but other than that, everything else was great I would come back. Definitely would recommend. Just keep an eye on the payments if you use valet they say it’s taken from the deposit and the deposit was $100.
