I loved how easy the booking and checkin process was! And it was super convenient for a concert at the petco literally found a great spot in front of hotel and was only an 8min walk to the stadium would definitely book again ‘

Very loud neighborhood at night, plus pipes are loud. If you really need your rest, I would look elsewhere.

while the staff were very helpful, their hands were tied because of the state of disrepair of the facilities. Granted it was an old building, but the air conditioner only had 2 settings, on or off. The tv was a technical nightmare, with very little instructions on how to navigate, with very low volume, I tried everything to try to raise the volume with no luck, no big deal, I wasn't there to watch tv, but it's nice to leave it on while you're out so people think you are still in there. No clothes closet, no place to put your clothes, we had to work out of our suitcases on the floor because there were no tables or chairs, only one luggage rack, which we used in the bathroom because there were no shelves or countertops, even with plenty of available wallspace for such.

Located near/at Gaslamp so plenty of options for food and night life, room was quite for it being close to many bars/clubs. check in/out process was was, rooftop was nice just couldn't figure out hot to ignite the small fire pit. AC was not working in our room, TV was glitching, there's no private parking available so we had to search for parking on a busy weekend, shower was nice but doe not have a sliding door

The plumbing is old and makes noises constantly. Could barely sleep because of it.

Boutique, clean and cozy; I would've had a 5 star experience but unfortunately ran into an instance where the code for my room didn't work. Little hiccups happen I wouldn't have made much of it if it were just quickly resolved, but due to the incompetence of one employee, we were stuck sitting on the floor outside of the room over 15 minutes on hold wsitinf for him to help until I gave up. I called back pretty upset and spoke to a different rep who immediately manually unlocked the room to let me in so we didn't have to wait until she created a new code we could use. I would stay with them again and one poor employee does not represent the whole experience.

The hotel is more like a B&B - no staff, access building and room with door codes. On a positive note, the decor is very nice and the hotel is clean.

There is no stuff on premises, so nothing get fixed, and it showed in the poor condition of everything. Not recommended.

I was delighted that the shower water was really hot.

Clean close to everything Very compact, no mini fridge, crammed
-
Very nice space with all the essentials. The other guests were also nice. My only observation is that the building’s plumbing system could be really noisy at times.

Very close to Petco Park. Rooftop access, but no working fire pits so bring a sweatshirt and a blanket at night.

This place is a disaster. No parking and no parking advice other than a flyer at the front desk. The location is on a urine-soaked corner, and once you figure out how to pay to park on a street where there is no parking from 3am-6am during the week for street sweepers, you then can try to use a secret code to get in the front door. Once you figure that out, you come inside and nobody is there to greet you. My ROOM KEY didnt work. While someone tried to fix the door, i needed to shower and leave . . . while he was there. I had to move my car to a standard parking lot for another flat fee BUT that only would apply until 3:45am and expire so I would have to move the car that night again. I went to my event and came back at 9:00pm and (1) the room code still did not work, and (2) once I was given another special room code, (2) the TV wouldnt work. I called the general "650" number that they give you and a woman told me to unplug the TV and reset it . . . but that didnt work. NOTHING WORKED INCLUDING THE ROOM KEY AND I STILL NEEDED TO MOVE MY CAR AND THEN HOPE TO GET BACK INTO MY ROOM IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT. This was an absolute disaster and I wound up going to. my car and leaving for another hotel. This almost ruined my visit to San Diego and was shameful. I respectfully request a full refund.

The online check-in process was clear and easy to navigate. When we arrived, the room was hot and humid, despite the air conditioning unit seemingly running on the coolest setting. We had to get to a dinner reservation, so we left and anticipated the room would cool down. When we arrived back after dinner (4ish hours later) our room was still significantly humid and much hotter than the community areas. We went up to the rooftop to check out the fire pits but none were working. We were uncomfortably hot in our room all night. Glad to only have had one night to stay!

Very affordable and convenient. No staff makes it cheaper.
