The whole staff was extremely nice. The breakfast was always well prepared and clean. The rooms are clean and very spacious. Loved it!!

It was OK. The staff was king of weird. Not rude but not the friendliest. THe breakfast wasnt good. IDK where all the rave reviews came from. Overall good stay tho.

Amazing kind staff! Lovely room

I was disappointed that there was no housekeeping in our rooms. We checked in on Wednesday, told housekeeping would be there Friday. Even after requesting, nobody came to bring clean towels or empty the trash until Saturday evening and we were checking out on Sunday morning. We noticed several times in the lobby that the garbage cans were overflowing. I think that they need more housekeeping staff.

This place was fantastic. It’s located pretty well if you want to use public transit. You could take a 15 min bus ride to the San Diego Zoo. It’s less than a 10 min walk to take the trolleys too. The hotel itself was great. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast is great, they make some simple handheld breakfast items, similar to egg McMuffins. Only downside is that the breakfast area is quite small and located right beside the main lobby. So if there is a group of people ready to leave, it gets quite noisy. The rooms are well maintained and there is a small kitchenette that will serve you well if you want to save money and cook your own meals. The hotel does a great job of identifying local events, such as the Little Italy Farmer’s market, that can make you think about cooking in your hotel room!

Great breakfast, variety of options

The day we checked in was Saturday evening and the key card was not working. Called the front desk, it was the locked that is not working and needed a technician to get it fix which will be tomorrow. So

My friends and I booked here for the weekend. We loved how fast the staff emailed back to us about early check-in and how friendly they were with us when we arrived. The building was also well maintained.
