Best Western Downtown San Diego

Rooms were clean and AC blew Ice Cold (which was needed during this heat wave). The staff was super friendly and the continental breakfast was a wonderful way to start the day.

The internet kept dropping.

Room was clean and spacious. Front desk staff were very helpful and waiting for our arrival (small hotel). Gave the vibes of an Italy hotel we stayed at. A lot of greenery on the outside with little lights giving it that extra warmth and beauty. Small lot but cheap parking at 20 per night compared to average of 45.

Clean rooms.

If you’re welling it is in walking distance to gas lamp, and Convention center. Great place. Exactly what we needed.

Clean room. Helpful staff. Overnight parking was expensive: $20. Great location in downtown.

Just stayed two days, but the place is clean and the plants make it an interesting place!

Close to popular areas, clean, and staff was nice. Brian helped us get checked in and was very helpful! Definitely recommend. Not enough food and very crowded at times.

I enjoyed my stay here, the staff always makes me feel appreciated for my business. My normal room wasn’t available due to maintenance in the ice machine room next to it. They upgraded me to a suite at no cost. Reyna with room service was super helpful and attentive.

Stayed here for our 1st Anniversary weekend trip, Enjoyed the great location, close to the zoo, Balboa Park and Little Italy. Parking is it is right in the middle of downtown, however, parking on the street is readily available. Well maintained property.

Hotel was dated, good breakfast and staff was excellent. Not bad for one night.

Pleasant stay overall. Was only there for one night as I was in town for a conference at the convention center. Price was reasonable, considering that most hotels closer to the convention center were way overpriced. The hotel definitely needs some upgrades, including some noise cancelling carpeting. The restroom was rather small, but it had everything I needed. $20 a night parking fee seemed a bit much, considering that the parking lot was tiny. For what I needed (a bed), the hotel served its purpose.
