Just a great overall experience. Location and the newly designed rooftop was a awesome addition.

Kids and people stomping above and below us the entire time The fire alarm at 1 am, 2 am 8 am and 830 am because they didnt put an out of order sign on the elevator. They waited for it to get stuck 4 different times before they put a sign on it.

Everyone there was so kind and helpful. The room was perfect for us and the location was perfect for everything we needed. Thank you can't wait to stay here again

Staff was great. Room was clean.

The room was fine, I used the hotel for business and they require $10 a day for WIFI and I couldn't acquire a receipt from the front desk and the service did not provide through e-mail., little frustrating at check out. Wasn't clear that the WIFI was an extra fee

First time visiting San Diego for a getaway trip on our Anniversary week. Enjoyed our stay and the weather turned out very good. Older brick building that used to be an apartment complex. Very nice rooms w/ full kitchen and in great condition. We only spent two nights here, since we were on our way up the coast on our trip. Lots of things to do near the hotel.Ask about the city trolley tours.Enjoyed the on and off tour of old San Diego and waterfront.

Superb
-
There is a timeshare presentation presented optionally for an opportunity for a free ticket to attractions. There is no free WiFi There is no daily housekeeping There is no free breakfast
-
The location of the property was also good, close to most attractions. Unfortunately, around the property there were too many homeless people, leaving us slightly uncomfortable when walking in the evenings.
-
Downtown and convenient to everything. Very close to the zoo

The hotel was centrally located, close to many restaurants. Within walkable distance to downtown and Petco park, the bay, USS Midway Museum and Balboa Park. Room was very spacious, it included a kitchen and full size fridge, dishes, pots and pans, silverware and even dish soap and a sponge. The only negatives I found were lack of parking space (had to park off street and there was barely any spaces available). I had to park a block away and pay $8 for every 12 hours of parking. They also didn't have a pool nor did they offer breakfast. The rooftop terrace had an amazing view and they even gave us a complimentary bottle of wine (we were there on our honeymoon).

Overall it was very nice accomodations in every aspect. The only complaint was having only one elevator available in each of the two elevators banks it took to get to our room.

Nothing Our stay was cancelled last minute. So we were very disappointed. We were looking forward to staying there. Then relocated us to another world mark hotel which was out of the way. We were still being pestered to join a timeshare once we check-in. So keep in mind, when you stay at any of their workmark hotels, they will hassle you into joining a timeshare.

All I liked was the bed and one girl that was working the parking garage. First off we were relocated to a place that was 18 min away from our venue. We booked months in advance n then we get an email 3 days b4 our stay, stating we can't stay there. There's a festival in town, all other hotels were booked or had extra charges for last min stay. They gave us no time for adjustments, we had to take it. When we check in we have to pay extra for parking. We asked to have the fee waved but no. They said it's not their fault for the over booking. We get to our rooms we have ants in one bathroom. They have someone spray n put a bug gel... We leave n come back there's more ants in the second bathroom so someone comes up again to spray. They then tell us to not leave any food out. They look in the fridge n say to keep all sweets away. We just got in n we had no food anywhere... We also had this black stuff floating around in the back bathroom toilet... we had tried to talk to the manager when we checked in but she was in a meeting. I'm on vacation n tried to enjoy my time. I had no time to b calling them all day. When we checked out we asked if they could wave the parking fees for all the inconvenience but they said no because it's a 3rd party n they need to b paid. They would not pay. They blamed booking for everything n they made no promises to comp anything or accommodate for any of their terrible services. Never ever stay here... I've been in the worst hotels b4 but never had i had any problems like this.

I like Art Deco, so I was very pleased to see so many Art Deco features in the hotel - whether they were original or not. The location is excellent, within walking distance of Balboa Park or Gaslamp District. Rooms were super comfortable and clean. Thoughtfully and stylishly decorated with old pictures or posters of San Diego in the early 20th century. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We were a group of relatives from California, Texas, and the Netherlands, staying at Worldmark Balboa Park for a wedding. Since the hotel was fully booked for that weekend, I stayed in a different hotel nearby - and was free to walk in and out to meet my relatives. I really appreciated this.
