The room was clean, the view at top floor was worth it, and the shower was great!!! I was a little hesitant when I first saw the parking lot of the hotel, but the room made up for it. I also appreciated having a safe in the room. The bed could be more comfortable and the Wi-Fi needs improvement, but for the price, it was a GREAT value. Honestly, I would stay here again. Thank you Leticia!

The hotel was nice to stay in and very clean, however the room can get very hot and the air conditioner does not really help.

The manager Mark A was extremely impressive and went above and beyond to accommodate me and my delicate situation. I was impressed and he took my safety and security seriously and I felt relieved and in capable hands when he checked me in

We stayed for 12 days and have no complaints. Our room was very clean and looked newly remodeled. Would stay there again!

The only big issue I had was parking. You have to pay for parking, but if you lose your parking spot and the lot is full, oh well they said. You'd lose parking and still have to pay for it. When I travel, I definitely do not want to worry about a parking spot in a hotel.

Great low budget alternative

The room was cleaned. The building itself used to be a Days Inn. Parking is kind of packed, we had to park on the street one night. Close to downtown though so walking distance. There is a weird smell & closer to a place with tents for the homeless. But besides that the inside was up to date & modern & clean.

El hotel esta ok, pero aun que este recién remodelado huele a viejo también hay mucho homeless y honestamente todos las opciones que vi aqui decían que estaba excelente pero esta un 6 de 10

Elevator not working during our stay and we were on the 4th floor!

Staff was super nice. I have stayed at this location before but this time the bathroom was not clean very well. There was hair in ours, lots of hair. Once reported they did come and clean it.

Todo muy limpio y un buen servicio 100% recomendado.

The room was decent. It had an updated shower. Staff was nice & friendly. But for a hotel, we expected our room to be cleaned daily & provide fresh towels. They did not do this service. There was no phone in the room to contact the front desk if you wanted fresh towels. You have to go the front desk, making it inconvenient.
-
The neighborhood is a little sketchy. The price was nice for a clean sleep spot and very nice shower.
-
Good experience. Guy at the front counter was very nice & helpful. Property was close to everything. Great stay. When back in San Diego I would come back the this hotel to stay

No limpiaron el cuarto

The staff was friendly and accommodating. Extended my stay during comic con weekend which would’ve been a nightmare if not for their help. The lobby has snacks and drinks for sale which was really helpful. Gaslamp was about a 15-20 min walk or a $10 uber ride. Extremely affordable and convenient for what my partner and I needed.
-
The front desk staff were very freindly and very helpful. The location of the hotel is excellent. You can walk to the Gaslamp District and the Convention Center. Lots of places close by to grab food or a snack. The AC in the room was banging. We were freezing in a good way. There is nothing fancy about this hotel. It's great if you want a clean room, with great AC and comfortable beds. Nothing fancy but serves it purpose. Also ample free parking. Shower was also GREAT!

$25 to be ark was a bit steep, mostly since the spaces were super tight. Our room was fantastic and conveniently located near the areas we were going to. Oddly our bathroom had two shampoo bottles and one conditioner, but no soap for the shower.

The room matched the photos, and everything was decent overall. The building is older, which shows in some areas, but it was acceptable for a short stay. One highlight was the staff. The guy who checked us in was very friendly and gave us a great recommendation for a late night meal. He suggested Tacos El Gordo, which was about a half mile walk away and definitely worth it. Overall, we got what we paid for. The hotel wasn’t bad, but it just wasn’t the right fit for our preferences. While our stay was fine for one night, we wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

Not sure why the reviews have been so high. The room was dirty, the breakfast was canceled, there was a $25 parking fee that wasn't mentioned during booking with an additional $100 deposit. We slept fine but I felt like I was given fake reviews based on the experience.
