The hotel staff were super nice and accommodating. It seems to be a family-run business and I´m always happy to support small and local businesses. The room was comfortable and clean, perfect for a budget traveler like myself. The shared bathroom/shower was not bad given that several other guests also used it - the mornings seemed to be when it was most in demand. It´s centrally located in downtown San Francisco and easily accessible to the Bart and Muni transport systems. I also got to the Caltrain pretty easily; I came into town for a couple days to visit some schools in Silicon Valley. Overall, would recommend it as an easy and inexpensive option for a quick trip. The surrounding neighborhood was a bit sketchy - not dangerous by any means, but certainly a lot of homeless and street people. If this doesn´t bother you and you´re just looking for a quiet place to sleep and keep your stuff (definitely not a hostel, so no worries about shared locker spaces), then this is a really good option.

It was easy to navigate, and very safe and clean in the rooms. Staff was also nice and very accommodating Area surrounding the property was a little rough, and there were a lot of sirens and street noises.

I had a nice comfortable bed to myself and my room was nice. I had a tv with lots of channels to watch, bathrooms were nice and clean, had wifi, offered everything I needed The only thing is the very rough location in the Tenderloin district. Very dirty and smelly streets with lots of drug use and sketchy behaviour. However, the actual property itself was nice and offered everything I needed for a place to stay

Location (however not the surroundings, full of addicts) and being quite silent (not much noise) Lack of hospitality, drug addicts (fentanyl) in front of the entrance, dirty bathroom, no coffee machine not even water-cooker in the room, the constant stench of cannabis, no common room, having to be let in by ringing a bell
