Courtyard by Marriott San Francisco Union Square

Great spot great location. Very nice interior.

Very thin wall, got woken up by the next door neighbor at 4am…

I liked that the staff was helpful. However, I didn’t like that the property wasn’t the cleanest

Location was not great. Hotel was reasonable and amenities were great. People were very friendly.

Rooms and bathrooms are so small. Staff is friendly. Food too expensive and no good quality No parking and valet parking charge you taxes every day.

For a solo stay a couple of nights it was fine. It has everything you need. I will say though that the hotel is around the corner of the Tenderloin, which isn’t very nice. I don’t know if technically it’s on Union Square, but it’s definitely far from the square.

The room was clean and staff were nice. I was very pleased with the room and cleanliness.

Upon arrival, the valet staff was super helpful and kind. The front desk staff was efficient and offered bottled water. The room was clean and quiet in spite of being near the elevators. I had the best night of hotel sleep I’ve ever experienced. Check out was a breeze. Staff in all positions were kind and courteous throughout the stay.

Staff was super friendly from check in to valet. Property and surrounding area was clean with plenty of good food options nearby. Rates were reasonable. I would definitely return.

Bad

Hotel lobby was clean and large. The room was very spacious and clean. The view we had was super cute too. Parking was valet that we chose it was pricey but I was only there for one night so I just made the choice to go with their option. I’d probably come back here again the area was in a good spot from bars, clubs and the shopping district.

We had a great stay! The staff were very accommodating and helpful when there was a little mixup with our room booking. Front desk gave out bottled water which was very nice on our daily adventures, and there is refreshments and snacks served in the lobby. Room was clean and overall had a pleasant experience.
