Hotel Julian

Service was excellent but the wifi barely worked. The tv /app service was pretty useless. Adjoining rooms are very noisy but the staff did their very best to make us comfortable.

This is a great hotel. The rooms are a little small like any other historic hotel but they are thoughtfully modernized and VERY clean. The entire staff was friendly and responsive but Angel, who checked me in, was extra great. Really, for the location and the price I can’t imagine a better stay.

Stay here whenever I work in SF. Clean, comfortable, and amazing staff.

This hotel is so cute and affordable. I thought it might GjT be a little noisy at night but it definitely wasn’t! The bed was comfortable and the room clean and spacious. There were many great eateries close by too!

The staff here is just awesome — super polite, friendly, and extremely helpful with everything. You can really tell the interior was designed with great taste; all the furniture is high quality and creates a amazing vibe. No real downsides at all. The only thing to keep in mind is that they don't have their own parking, but that wasn't an issue for us at all. Highly recommend Hotel Julian to anyone visiting San Francisco. Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely hotel. Clean, good location and 24 hour security.

Just stayed one night. Only complaint was that it was very loud with banging outside the door at times.

We loved our stay here. This is a beautiful old building with updated furnishings. My only complaint is there is no parking on site.

We had a good three nights here as a family. After walking from the train to the hotel with our luggage, we had a really nice warm welcome from Angel. She was super helpful, giving us some good tips and advice for our stay. We were also able to check into our rooms early. We had two rooms which were large and spacious. It was a pleasant surprise to hear there was a complimentary free breakfast each day (pastries) which suited us fine. We used the laundrette down the street.

Comfortable. 😊 The soap smells so good. Basic complimentary breakfast was perfectly enough with tea and coffee, individual pre-packaged oatmeal, croissant. Front desk held luggage after checkout giving time to do things in the city without having to haul everything along. I'd definitely stay here again.
