The place was clean upon arrival, staff was VERY friendly and kind, coffee in the lobby was nice, location was good. Here’s why I only gave it 3 stars. I stayed here 5 days and the room was never cleaned despite asking twice. Garbage was piling up and I finally asked if I could put it in the hallway and was told yes, it would be taken care of before the end of shift. 2 days later our trash was still in the hallway. They were never able to give us washcloths. Despite asking daily, I was always told they were out. The room was also incredibly hot. They seemed incredibly understaffed

Absolutely amazing property.

The lobby is comfortable with good coffee machine. The rooms and elevators are older because the building is historical. The bathroom is standard motel sink and tub. The floors are new laminate.

The room was clean, rhere were some fruit flies but thats the nature of windows without screens. Mini fridge in room and microwave in the lobby house was different but not an issue at all! Great recommendations from the front desk, and they were very kind/apologetic/accommodating when house keeping forgot to give us a 2nd towel (we got one right away so it was no worry at all). Overall I felt very safe and comfortable

seemed to not work but the temperature inside was pretty nice. Plus you could open the window slightly. I will say, the shower kinda gave me the ick it looks a bit old 😅 The elevator was kinda scary too; noticed the last inspection was 2020 idk if that’s like a standard time frame for an inspection. The staff was really friendly. They also have a complimentary hot beverage machine which was nice Overall a cute place to stay for the price.

Staffs were very friendly.

Centrally located in downtown SF, blocks away from Union Square. Service was awesome, clean, restaurant had a good menu, and staff there was extremely nice! There was a small bodega across the street which was also nice for drinks, fruits, sandwiches etc. Don't hesitate to book!!!

Didn't park. Lots of shops nearby.

The hotel did a fantastic job of setting proper expectations regarding their offerings right from the start, so we knew exactly what to expect. Everything was clean, but what truly made our stay memorable was the staff. They are absolutely fantastic! A special shout-out to Robbie, who treated us like family from the moment we arrived. We felt so welcome and taken care of. Highly recommend!

The staff is amazing. The room needed a clean. No screens on the windows. There is only 1 elevator so during check out time and with the housekeeping carts, the elevator wasn't worth waiting for. I would stay again because of the location, value and staff, but I would bring some cleaning items with me.

Dirty towels left in the room from prior occupants. Room was not cleaned when sign was left on door for service.

The best thing about this hotel is the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and easy. The building is old but reasonably clean and well-maintained-- although the light in the bathroom frequently flickered and irritated our eyes. The biggest con for us, and the only reason I am taking a couple of stars off, was the proximity to the Tenderloin district; the sidewalk directly in front of the hotel was mostly clean, but wherever we went, we had to walk some blocks to not worry about stepping in dog feces, vomit, or unidentifiables.

Parking it’s another 300 Dlls 3 days 😁

No furniture except dorm type shelves. No phone, cannot call desk. No coffee, had to go to lobby for coffee, ice, water. Clean room. Bed acceptable. Had to walk blocks to fine a place to eat. 6 blocks for a restaurant.
-
Our only issue was that there is no sound proofing whatsoever. We were able to hear the guests next to us as if they were in the room with us, woken up by their voices every morning at 6am as they were getting ready. The bed might have been comfy, but with that noise, it was hard to have a good night sleep.

The rooms were basic but very clean. The sheets and towels were very clean and the shower was forceful and piping hot.
