FOUND Hotel Carlton, Nob Hill

This was a great place to stay for my husband’s surgery at UCSF Hyde. Only a 2 block walk. Expect a mixture of old ( but clean) building with some modern fixtures. Coffee and microwave in lobby , not in room. Mini fridge in room. Some attention to detail would be nice ( extra mirror would be helpful , shower curtain ripped , stairs needed vacuum) . Spacious room, Nice bedding, felt safe, lots of food nearby, especially Asian Cuisine. Overall an excellent value and would stay again.

Room was very clean and perfect for what we needed! It was a little stuffy in our room, but still very nice. Location was good, provided great access to lots of the city. Would recommend for your stay. Just be weary of walking alone in the neighborhood at night. Specifically, if you take public transport from the airport, I wouldn't walk alone with your luggage to the hotel at night. Regardless, still would recommend staying here!

A lot of stores nearby, very close to everything you’d like to come see in San Francisco!

Everything was great. It was very clean.

Dirty, debris, hair, pubes and toenails. they didn’t even attempt to clean the floor, noor the toilet. The bed was broken so the whole edge just fell in when you sat on it. They said they would have someone come to clean the restroom and the dirt but no one showed up for atleast 3 hours to clean it. The staff member in the front Robby was Amazing!! We loved him so much and he was the one thing about this hotel that made it nice!

Al estar 4 noches solo nos limpiaron 1 vez la habitación , pero solo tendían la cama y sacaron la basura , de ahí vi que había basura debajo de mi cama que no fue en mi estadía, lo más probable fue en la estadía anterior.

Everything was great except parking. If you’re looking to stay here just know you will have to pay for parking which can be a pretty expensive. But besides that everything was wonderful

No ac knew that when i booked. Did not realize when i cracked a window to sleep i would hear people screaming in the streets all night because of the massive homeless population living outside the hotel. Room looked like s person or animal pooped on the rug.

The free water was awesome and the hotel is in a good location in relation to the the subway

The hotel is a great value for the money. Some of the sheets were torn and some marks were on the wall, but besides that it was quite and enjoyable. The hallways and elevators could use a revamping. Also be aware that it is in lower Nob Hill which has turned into the Tenderloin. Be careful at night.

Parking was the most challenging part of the stay. Other than, the sizes of the elevators. They were small.

All was great! We didnt have an AC in our room, but the weather was cool enough to keep the windows ajar. Nice breeze. No microwave in our room either, but you can use one downstairs. We will definitely stay here again.

Loved the preserved old architectural details; reminded me of my S.F. apartment. The room was comfortable and clean with the essential amenities. Great restaurants nearby and close to public transit.

The place was very clean. We had a restful night.

Check in was a little more time consuming than I anticipated. There were two groups ahead of me, and I waited about 20 minutes.

This stay was much more lack luster than the pictures depicted. However, it was a comfortable, clean bed. There were minimal outlets and the bathroom was extremely tiny.
