Thank you Nob Hill Hotel!

The location was great. Ooh where to start. Our room was Very small, with a 120×200 bed. The view was a smelly closed back alley, so opening the windows were out of the question. The room was a combined room with only a normal door separating the room. We could hear everything from the other room.

This was my second time staying at this charming hotel. I love the character of the old/updated building. The staff is very nice and the hotel is centrally located allowing for easy travel to and from destinations. There is a small refrigerator in the room and Trader Joe's a block and a half away, along with a selection of small cafes within a block or two in all directions. I plan to stay here again, when I am back in the bay.

Average hotel near drug addicts area:) Neighbourhood
-
The convenience of walking around Not enough restaurants to choose from within walking distance
-
Need better parking accommodations
-
Neat and clean , courteous staff and not far from most places to be seen and experienced in the city Actually, nothing

This was disappointing. The valet closes in the evening leaving you to try to fight to find a parking lot amongst the colorful folk of nob hill. Small rooms, poor staffing, and a disappointing breakfast later and I would have been better off staying at a motel 6

Perfect location, nice staff and good breakfast Very small room

The personal was exelent especially checking out ( Chirayu )

The elevator is really scary and has a mind of its own. The room had someone else’s trash in it. It was noisy. There was nowhere to hang a towel or put toiletries in the bathroom (or room… the tiny bedside tables were in the way of the door). The breakfast and coffee machine are miserable… and the poor staff member was harried. He showed the guy checking in ahead of me to the sketchy elevator and then had trouble checking me in and didn’t get to helping me.

Kind staff. The corridor carpets were dirty, and the bathroom smelled unpleasant.

Breakfast was good,had a great variety,even gluten-free bread.The staff was very helpful.

Member of staff on the desk was polite. The room was nothing like advertised. It was very small, with no space to move around. The bed was a rickety frame, and walls and windows felt paper thin, which was combined with not feeling completely safe in the area. We checked out immediately as we arrived but the hotel would only refund us 2 out of 3 of our nights.

nothing it had a urine smell all over the hotel

We were delighted to arrive early and have our room ready and available for check in with no added charges. The room was clean and had cute decor. The only drawbacks: we had no hot water in our shower on the first day (at all). The continental breakfast is mediocre and not worth the calories but if you’re in a rush you can get by with fruit and toast. The staff were responsive when notified of the lack of hot water and said some sort of heating unit has been turned off, making this unlikely to be a regular issue and hopefully a one time glitch. Location was central and convenient to get to almost everywhere I needed.

It was clean and modern The bed felt way too small for 2 ppl

not a bad place; great for the price -- free breakfast was pretty bad though

The location of the hotel is good but the fact that it is surrounded by homeless and drug addicts makes it very uncomfortable in the day and almost impossible to go out at night! I would not stay here with children!!!!! The parking aspect is very confusing. When booked it was well advertised that the property included private parking, but it did not mention that you have to pay 58 dollars EXTRA each day. Also the car parking is not in the proximity of the hotel but it is in another place ( no idea where). Very confusing, they should be more clear about this. We only chose this hotel for the car parking and then we ended up finding another, cheaper.
