The bed was comfortable. But in the morning we heard footsteps and noise on the top floor. The reception person is very friendly and helpful.
-
The room was small, but clean. The hotel has a bed and breakfast feel to it. Staff was courteous and room temp was good.

Clean room, very friendly and helpful staff

The staff was friendly and guided us the "self checkin" process. The breakfast was good. We like the location which is close to Union Square and Chinatown. The room is ok and we did not like the noisy air conditioning and the old bed frames and mattresses.

Todo muy bien, solo que deben asignar un personal de limpieza por habitación en el momento de la estancia

Room has a constantly loud machine-like noise. Not sure if its the outdoor unit for a nearby room, or the electrical room, or something else. The noise was loud even after we turned off the AC and all windows. Had a bad night of sleep due to it.

The king bed and pillows were the best ever!! So super comfy!! We got the greatest sleep!! Breakfast good and hot. A/C nice and cold. Old world charm building. Close to Union Square.

The staff was very friendly. The accommodations that were near the hotel were perfect. The breakfast was also very good.

This is a cute hotel in a very walkable location. I was mere steps away from a cable car stop. Nice and quiet. I'd definitely stay here again.

During my stay, I went to the front desk to speak with the young lady about the condition of my room and asked if it was possible to switch rooms because mine had not been properly cleaned. I took numerous photos documenting the unacceptable condition of the room. What disappointed me most was the lack of concern or effort to resolve the issue. Rather than trying to accommodate my request, I was simply told that she needed to contact the manager, who was away for two weeks due to an emergency, and that she didn't know when the manager would respond. As a guest staying for nearly a week, I expected a clean room and a timely effort to address my concerns. Instead, I felt dismissed, and my issue was left unresolved. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this hotel. FYI: you have to pay 40.00 for housekeeping and the room isn’t even cleaned good. My room was full of dust and my voice was not heard.

Charged for amenities? There are none! There's only 1 renovated room so don't let the marketing fool you. Very dirty and old. Horrible service. Never would recommend even if they paid me. I would give 0 stars except it wouldn't let me.
-
Great size room, larger than expected.
-
Best stay! Central to everything. Staff was very polite and helpful. We can’t wait to stay there again!
-
Staff was awesome! Room was clean and spacey. Parking difficult to find info on.

Great location, great staff

I was assigned to a room beside the elevator, and I heard the noise all night long. If you are sensitive to noise, do not stay. The front desk staff at check-in was very poor. He did not want to communicate or greet me with a welcome; instead, he pointed me to the machine in the lobby, saying I needed to use it to get a key. No instructions provided. I thought, " Are you working in the hospitality industry? The check-out process with the other gentleman was much more pleasant, but I can't override the negative first impression of the check-in process. The room was clean but felt impersonal. There was a Keurig machine, but no tea was provided. It wasn't well stocked, and there was no water. It's an old hotel, but I hoped their service would be much better, since the location was excellent.

Nice breakfast with warm food. The hash browns were burnt to a crisp and several items were out- it would have been nice if those had been replaced as it was still during breakfast hours. Overall it was a nice place to stay in town.
