I was assigned to a room beside the elevator, and I heard the noise all night long. If you are sensitive to noise, do not stay. The front desk staff at check-in was very poor. He did not want to communicate or greet me with a welcome; instead, he pointed me to the machine in the lobby, saying I needed to use it to get a key. No instructions provided. I thought, " Are you working in the hospitality industry? The check-out process with the other gentleman was much more pleasant, but I can't override the negative first impression of the check-in process. The room was clean but felt impersonal. There was a Keurig machine, but no tea was provided. It wasn't well stocked, and there was no water. It's an old hotel, but I hoped their service would be much better, since the location was excellent.

Nice breakfast with warm food. The hash browns were burnt to a crisp and several items were out- it would have been nice if those had been replaced as it was still during breakfast hours. Overall it was a nice place to stay in town.

Everything nice!!!

Rooms was great. Location was awesome. Staff were friendly. Lift was slow. Hot buffet breakfast was yummy.
-
too many text / emails/ phone calls Even though there were two gentleman standing near by I still needed to use the machine to check in

Cleanliness. Breakfast. Decor. Desk services were great. Friendly. They advertised ample parking, but we had walk nearly 3 blocks and climb a steep hill or walk nearly 3 blocks and climb 2 sets of stairs, past homeless and stepping around or over their body waste and rotting food. The whole way was was filthy. My wife is 80 and I am 83. We both have walking issues.

Everything was good I enjoyed my stay very nice staff That i have to pay extra for parking it did not say that when I booked the hotel also no vending machines for snacks.
-
old but very neat and clean.

It had a pretty affordable price for having my own bathroom, free breakfast and air conditioner Carpets and no one cleans your room daily

We enjoyed staying in this hotel, which has an antique charm with modern conveniences. Our room was large and comfortable: the bed was great and it was quiet. It could have used one more chair. The products in the bathroom were top notch (L’Occitane). The free breakfast was very good. And we liked the location, close to Dragon’s Gate in Chinatown and accessible to public transportation. We’d definitely stay there again.

The place is pretty sparse on amenities; but the rooms are updated fairly well. They charge for a room cleaning, which is unfortunate. My husband was sick, and it was going to cost us $40 to get fresh sheets after a night of fever sweats. The contactless check-in process is a bit clunky - a spouse or family member cannot check-in if their name is not on the reservation. The halls were quite musty, and mixed with the scent of ammonia and other cleaning chemicals. But we had no issues with the cleanliness of the rooms overall - more dust than I would expected...but it's an old hotel. Overall it's a fine budget stay, but I wouldn't seek the place out.

Buenísimo el desayuno y la gente así como la habitación grande
-
Cozy lobby Self service check in was crowded, inflexible, and people often needed help, causing lines
-
Cozy lobby with fireplace No view from the room windows. Self-service check in felt cheap. Staff were nice.
-
Maybe water could be added to the room, like a bottle or maybe two bottle of water

This is an older property that has been renovated in many areas. The room was clean but the bad was well worn. The check in is at a kiosk which was very impersonal and the man at the desk wasn't overly helpful or friendly. All other staff were very nice.
-
Good location in downtown. Lot of things are in walking distance.
-
room, breakfast and location were good in general. A/C unit was noisy, old style.
