We had a great stay at the Orchard Hotel in July 2026. The location ws great, we were able to walk most of the city. Clean and comfortable.

They are super responsive to needs, via text or in person, and everyone is wonderfully friendly. Warning: the water is SUPER hot (great that you don't have to wait for it to warm up and amazing in the shower, BUT it could catch you off guard for sure.)

I been staying at this hotel since 2010! It’s my home away from Home! It’s what I look forward to every time I visit San Francisco! Always clean, quiet and comfortable. See you next year! NA

Although the staff was helpful in procuring our needs, the building maintenance, or lack-there-of was was severely lacking. You could hear everybody's movements through the walls, the bathrooms were rather dirty, and our tub got clogged while taking a simple shower. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Location was amazing. Two blocks off Union Square. We walked from Salesforce Plaza where the Amtrak bus left us off. Nothing

Good location very near to Union Square and Chinatown walking distance. No rejuvenation over the ageing facilities but I guess some guests like the classic novelty which is what makes this hotel difference from most of the other contemporary hotels here.
