This property is great! Very affordable and so safe! The Powell-Hyde & Powell-Mason cable cars have a stop just around the corner from hotel and parking in the Sutter-Stockton garage was super close, simple and affordable. The hotel is very dated with old wallpaper and carpet styles, however it was very clean. Staff was very helpful. I would stay here again for sure.

Excellent stay with a beautiful location

Staff was incredibly communicative and accommodating! I had a $50 deposit/day, and overall, the experience was really great because of the staff.

The Hotel was very nice and clean and the staff was super friendly

Location is perfect, very close to Union Square and Chinatown, and walkable to lots of restaurants and cafes. We didn't try the breakfast in hotel so no comments. There's a cafe right below that serves breakfast and lunch. We parked in a private garage right across the street less than a block away for $40/24hrs - felt very safe and reasonable. If you're lucky, you may be able to grab street parking right off the hotel curb. If I have to nitpick, the mattress was too soft but this is a personal preference. Everything else was great.

Fantastic location for everything San Francisco. Its a typically steep uphill from the subway to the hotel lol. Very clean hotel with great room facilities, safe, iron, coffee machine, toiletries and desk etc. The room was very comfortable and the desk with two chairs was great to use as a table for eating at to avoid expensive meals out every day. Gym is very limited with 1 treadmill and a few weights plus a bike and steps machine all set up in a converted bedroom. Better equipment would be welcomed. The view out the window was very limited of an emergency stairwell on the building opposite. We were close to the lift which we could hear going up and down over night, and also close to the cleaners cupboard who chose to clash the clean glasses together each morning to wake us up. Breakfast wasn't included in the price and while it was on offer it was very expensive for a la carte options only.

Comfortable, good sized room. Coffee station, desk and refrigerator. Close to central San Francisco and Union Square. Nothing really. All was good.

The staff were very good and location fantastic for our first visit to SAN Francisco. It would be good to have an included breakfast option with the booking. The dining room is a lovely space to start the day.
