The Cartwright Hotel - Union Square BW Premier Collection

My other favorite Boutique hotel. With the greatest staff and a relaxed attitude that means everything when it comes without judgement! I can’t say enough nice things about this place. It’s unassuming and you should be that way here anyway. They won’t do you wrong and pets stay for free and no mean and nasty looks ever.

Location is great The room does not look clean and looks nothing like the photo that was online. The curtain itself was dirty, the corners were dirty, and the conditions of the room were overall very subpar. The door hinge was faulty.

Great location! Very close to union square. Lots of dining options nearby. Close to BART stop and trolley route. Very unpretentious. Guests look happy staying there.

Potential guests should understand this is a historic small hotel which has been renovated. This is my favorite type of hotel but doesn’t come with amenities like a pool or fitness center if that is what guests are looking for. I love the history, quaintness and eccentricities of the early 1900s hotels and this is a 10/10 for that category. The various seating areas in the lobby are adorable. The location about a block from Union Square is ideal. It’s my second time staying here and I love it.

The hotel does not have a refrigerator or a microwave in the room. If you want a refrigerator, you have to pay an extra $5 per day. Parking is also available across the street for $40 per day. On the positive side, if you want to experience the full atmosphere and sounds of downtown San Francisco, this is the perfect place. You can hear everything the city has to offer.

Its near in all the bus stops and good places that we can go to. Its just sometimes noisy, since the window is open we can hear the AC of the room beside us and the construction on the street.
