Love the location very clean quit at night. Jerry the Door man was amazing.

Staff was amazing. We arrived early and they got us into a room with no wait. Staff was always friendly. Muni was close by and helpful getting around.

Highly recommend, we will come back again.

There is a large walk in closet in my room and quite a large fridge. The room is very clean with comfortable beddings. We stayed for 3 nights. The room was made once during our stay. We did not request for any room service. I think it is a great value considering the location and timing. Our stay was during the 4th of July holiday. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who does not want to spend a fortune.

This is a vintage building g so the bathroom amenities are designed to fit the er!, the toilet is closer to a toddler toilet. Overall we loved the stay.

Very good location- Friendly staff and well maintained and welcoming facilities

Never again. The hotel itself was fine, the staff were helpful and friendly. But the noise from the street below was too much. There is a bar right next door and there was a huge fight one night with people drunk. Nine cop cars were at the scene. It went on for an hour between midnight and 1am. The following night, construction was going on across the street. It was impossible to get any sleep.

I love this hotel and will stay there every time I am in SF.

It's fine. Good location. Nice room. Dated lobby, elevator, and halls.

While it wasn’t the best cup of coffee that I ever had, it did the trick when no coffee shops were open. There were other settings on the machine for espresso, cappuccino, etc. How many times have you stayed in an hotel where the in-room coffee maker wouldn’t work? This machine in the lobby was really a nice touch. There was a nice selection of tea and cookies, too. But give me the coffee.
-
Great staff. Rooms are noisy and it’s very easy to hear your neighbors. The beds are also too soft and a bit lumpy

The staff was very helpful with storing my luggage when I arrived hours before check-in time. The room I received surprised me with its large size and nice sitting and work areas. Loved it!
-
Bad: Super loud because room directly over cable cars, hotel is old, vomit smell in bathroom never goes away, room small.
-
I love this hotel. It is old but they have done a great job of updating and renovating & embracing the old and new. I love that i got to take a bath in a deep tube after a long daybof walking. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean. The location is great! Would definitely recommend and go back!

I really appreciated Angelo the doorman who helped me get in and out of the hotel seamlessly. I loved that the room felt clean and I slept well. There was a little live plant in my room - I have never seen that in a hotel! Why didn’t I give 4 stars all around? The bathroom is quite small. Grout missing and some rust. The windows do not open. I couldn’t get the shampoo to work and forgot my own. It is quite pricey to stay here and it l seems to be under construction from the exterior. I loved the SF wallpaper!
