Chancellor Hotel on Union Square

The staff and hotel property were wonderful. Very convenient location to catch the Cable Cars. Lots of things to see and places to eat around the area. Although, parking is off site, it wasn’t inconvenient by any means. Definitely recommend.

If I could give the staff 10 stars, I would. They all did little things to make our stay special. The location was great and the room was a good value. We would stay here again!

This Hotel is a true gem! I even tried to extend my stay!! Clean deep bathtub with bath salts for your enjoyment. Yes please! The bartender was so great she made me a fabulous cocktail and such a joy with me and her guest at the bar even cupcake the dog. Thank you staff for my special birthday card and gift. So thoughtful and made me feel special. Can't wait wait till my next stay at te Chancellor Hotel. 😀😃

Cute, historic hotel in the heart of San Fransisco. Close to public transporation and the Trolley Cars. Definitely a rebook when back in town

The property is conveniently located near Union Square. Very nice hotel and staff.

Room very clean. Free coffee(varieties) and cookies available all the time. Very friendly staff. We left our suitcase there and roamed around the city even after check our.

This place was amazing.. when you step out of your car you feel like you are in the 1940’s. The bellmen helps you up to your room and even places your luggage into the closet. This place was so amazing. I will definitely stay there again just for the wonderful experience. Even without air-conditioning the rooms are super cool because the windows open, which are rare and they have ceiling fans and an extra fan if you get hot. I really felt like I was on vacation at this hotel.

The room was smaller but had a large walk in closet, which you don’t see in hotels. This allowed us to put luggage in there and made the room feel bigger. Highly recommend staying here!

Great location right on Union Square. Large walk in closet in the room and sparkling clean bathroom. Complimentary coffee, tea, cookies, fruit and popcorn were unexpected. Would book this again!
