All fine….

This tiny hotel was exactly what my team needed for our work trip-- the daily free breakfast was substantial enough and the rooms were spotless and comfortable. I had a suite which was perfect for my 4 night stay.

Great location and great staff.

We booked three rooms at this hotel as a base for our large group while visiting San Francisco. We really enjoyed the stay and the great central location. Antonio at the front desk was really helpful and polite, making sure our check in was easy and that we had all of the information we needed.

This hotel does not having air conditioning. I would not have booked it if I had known that. However, it had a great ceiling fan and I was comfortable. My husband runs hot and he was not comfortable. The bathroom was super clean and I was happy with that. It was a good location catty corner from Union Square and a short walk to the Powell Station and cable cars. Overall it was a good value.

Perfect location for meeting our tour groups.

Staff was friendly. Check in was seamless, and we were allowed to check in early. That was amazing and super helpful. The property has very comfortable beds and pillows. The breakfast is very basic but satisfying enough. The property is convenient to a trolley stop and you can cruise around anywhere you want with minimal walking.

The hotel ask for $25 per day for breakfast, purified water and ice. The ice is necessary as the purified water is hot (good to make coffee) and you cannot drink without the ice. The breakfast is a joke. Offered in a small room with a table and same chairs, they offer some pastries, yogurt, coffe and orange juice. If you get there as soon as they open you can get some good pastries. If you arrive late, just bagels. The other issue, Expedia sells the hotel with breakfast. The reality is, you pay $25 breakfast fee by day. I complained to the front desk person,he asked to talk with Expedia. I complained with Expedia on the arrival survey, nothing happens. The customer feeling, Expedia announced something that was not delivered and, at the end, I paid twice for breakfast as no one respond to my complaints. The worse feeling, I choose this hotel instead others because of the breakfast. If I had breakfast in another place I would pay lessfor a better and with different options breakfast. I will not return, don't like the feel of being fooled.

Breakfast could be better

The hotel was nice overall. Antonio was very helpful at check-in and very kind to offer an upgraded room for our stay. The room was comfortable and clean. Check-in was a bit chaotic given you have to unload/park on a busy street, but being near the busy street was a plus, given you are near public transit. The location is super nice for that. Breakfast offerings were standard, but you should try local spots for food!

I had a great stay at The Inn at Union Square The front desk staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything we needed. The place was very clean quiet and comfortable, which made my stay even more enjoyable. One of the best things about this hotel is its excellent location it's just a short walking distance from the luxury brand stores and other attractions in Union Square. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting San Francisco

The room and facilities were very clean, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the price was great!

I would like to thank Antonio the front desk representative for his hospitality and assistance
-
Staff was amazing - rooms are small but clean. Queen bed was NOT a queen but a double. Breakfast was poor and one day they had no coffee after 8:30 even though breakfast is served till 10:00 am. Area is very central to everything but not the best area in the evening with the homeless / lots closed down you have to know where you are going. Staff at the hotel was helpful and wonderful!

Perfect location. Air conditioning was a bit loud

Breakfast is a nice touch .
