They have a club on the the top of the building with spa and a tables outside and seating inside with complimentary coffee and tea. It would be nice if they had some breakfast items. The restaurant only serves lunch and dinner. The location of the hotel is ideal and staff is friendly.

Hotel is undergoing some renovations but they did not impact our stay. Always make time to hit the steam rooms and hot tub. Staff is always so friendly and helpful, we stay there every summer.

We had such a great time! Game room was a hit for my son! He wanted to play in there all day! Close and walking distance to many places. Will definitely stay there again.

Lovely hotel in a great location. Within walking distance to a lot of sights and down to the piers. Room very spacious and clean. Staff helpful and friendly, we also used the valet parking which was helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Bed and linens were super comfortable. Great location - only a few blocks from Chinatown. Shower was wonderful. There seemed to be a lot of confusion over request for late checkout. I asked every day of stay and got a vague answer every time. Phone system also was down one night we were there; didn’t affect us really. The coffee maker in room was very confusing. You need to provide instructions. It would be nice if there were grab and go selections for the morning.

the room was amazing, comfortable, had all the amenities the rooftop is not really a rooftop , more should be offered on the club level, and the jacuzzi is just for 1 or 2 people no privacy

My one negative comment is about the checkout time, which is 10:00 am. When I checked in, I asked about a late checkout. I was advised they couldn't approve it and to call between 7-8 on the morning of the checkout. When I did that they advised "we can only extend for 30 minutes, until 10:30." I have not experienced a checkout time before 11:00 am in memory and certainly have been extended at least an hour at every other hotel I have ever requested it at, which is rare.

Great hotel. Really comfortable room, all the amenities, and very accommodating staff. They brought champagne and snacks to our room for my birthday.

Close to Union Square and so many other attractions. Also very great location for transportation.

Noisy. You could hear every noise from outside - I doubt the windows were double paned as the construction and street noise felt like it was right outside the window! SF has changed. I chose Union Square because it was or used to be central but it was very rundown, dirty and not what it used to be. Felt the same way about SF in general. Felt no need to ever go back! Like a lot of things in the US now - overpriced food, parking, amenities, attractions. Just didn't have that special 'thing' that SF used to have.

The room was large and very clean. Modern and new. LOVED that it had a small kitchen - microwave, fridge and dishwasher with plates and utensils. Bathroom was very nice but small. Staff were very lovely and helpful. Noisy. The area nearby is nice in most directions. You can end up in a rough part of town if you aren’t sure of where you’re going, but the other directions have plenty of great food and public spaces.

The room was fine however the TV was less than acceptable. I went there during World Cup week and they had no coverage on TV in the room. They had a game room that had no coverage of the room and their spa area closed at 10 and when you’re in San Francisco, when you go out late and you come back in that area was closed. I don’t understand why it should’ve been open at least 24 hours. There’s a small Jacuzzi and then there is a hot room. Also my husband left his shaver charger in the room. When we laughed we checked into another hotel. We realize we left it in the room when we went back to the hotel they refused to check in the room to see if it was in there they said that they did not want to disturb the other party. I mean serious that made no sense to me at all. I will not be staying there again.
